Good news, bad news

When Mike and the girls finally arrive at the lab, Damon and Liam are already waiting for them. Liam looks amused, and Damon annoyed. Damon is the first to speak. “I know you three are having a good time, but please at least try to get here at a reasonable time.”

Alicia nods. “Sorry, Damon. Things got a bit out of hand.”

Kyrie grins. “We’ll save our fun for the evening in the future, promise!”

Liam giggles, winking at Mike. “And maybe next time I can join the fun!”

Damon interrupts before Mike can answer. “Regardless, we have some news, and not great news, either. I had to release my findings up to this point, and the reactions to the data were…mixed.”

He looks at Mike. “If I’m honest, I was actually expecting more backlash, especially with the discovery of your most recent changes, but it seems that some groups are even more eager to meet with you now.”

Alicia nods. “I can understand why. Mike is…special.”

Kyrie laughs. “That’s a very polite way to put it. The man can make you orgasm by cumming in your mouth!”

Liam raises an eyebrow. “It’s that strong already? Color me intrigued as well.”

Damon coughs, interrupting again. “Be that as it may, the groups calling for Mike to be separated from us are growing stronger as well, although still a vast minority. However, given that we’ve had one abduction attempt already, I think we should be cautious in the future.”

Mike nods. “Who knows what would have happened if Melody hadn’t been there to drive them off.”

Damon sighs. “Yes. I would prefer to avoid that. Mike, I may not be sexual with you, but I don’t want to see you hurt either. That being said, we are taking another trip today.”

Alicia looks at Damon curiously. “Someone else wants to interview Mike?”

Damon nods. “In a manner of speaking. There’s a government office asking for some time with him, the Security and Enforcement Office. A woman named Donna, I believe. She requested myself and Alicia, along with Mike, so I doubt it’s a social call.”

Alicia smiles. “Well, perhaps we can pay Melody a visit on our way back.”

Mike laughs. “Someone’s a little eager!”

Alicia blushes, and Damon sighs again. “I suppose that will be fine. We leave in an hour, so get anything you you need to done.”
