Good intel from the esper

The esper makes good on his word. He focuses his mind while gently placing his palms on your temples. "Please, let us both close our eyes." You do as he says, gently closing your eyes. The esoer whispers some sort of incantation before a flash of brilliant light forms. "Keep your eyes closed, or else it'll blind you! Now focus on the memory of the theives." Once more, you head his instruction. Focusing on their faces, their bodies, and their actions that you bore witness to. Soon that imagery washes away as your mind follows the theiving men past from what you saw. They fled to the run down section of town. They're took up rest in a seedy tavern there... using the man's stolen money. You growl and grit your teeth before the esper caresses your cheek, "Calm, calm my knight. Justice shall be delivered unto them." They vision's last scene is of the men, in tbeir drunken stooper, stumbling into their rented room and beds. "Therr is where you'll find them. There is where justice shall be dealt." Sliding his hands off your temples, the bright light vanishes. "It is safe to open your eyes once more." Your eyes open slowly, adjusting to the room's natural brightness. The esper steps towards you, nearing his face towards yours. He tenderly takes ahold of it, gently placing three kisses onto your cheek, jaw, and finally neck. "That shall serve as your blessing. It will reveal itself when needed. For now, let its tender warmth guide you."

A faint hue of blush forms on your cheeks. Clearing your throat to regain your composure, you speak, "I must know, what is your name dear esper, and why did you aid me free of charge" He smirks, leaning his mouth towards your left ear, "My name? Tis Merlin. I helped you... because within you shines the same radiance I once saw in another knight so long ago." Not exactly the answer you were expecting.

He backs away. You're slightly dumbfounded. "Waste no more time, shoo, shoo, go to the scoundrels before they awaken from their drunkenness!" He turns away to tend to tidying a shelf of various bottles and vials.

"Thh-thank you." You turn to leave.

As you exit the doorway, he shouts one last thing at you, "Oh! And tell my brother I said 'Hi' when you get home. Your manor's physician that is." You try to respond but not before his shop's door magically swings shut and clicks as locks shift into place, making it well known for no one to attempt entry.
