Chapter 166 by Roar of The Winning Punch Roar of The Winning Punch

What's next?

Good End

In a flash of light the perfect of Eden was restored once more to Eve's sight.

For a moment she was overwhelmed by the relief of it all, and then she simply breathed out all her evil and sin.

Her mind was restored to perfection, her body was restored to perfection, the world was restored to perfection.

Somewhere around here Adam was waiting for her, they would return to their endless play, once more under the protection of angels, and the love of God.

"No fair." Came a squeaky voice at her side. Eve looked over and saw a snake curling down from the branches of the tree she was sat against. "Wasn't I supposed to keep my harem with your wish?”

Even shrugged, and curled her toes in the grass. She missed grass like this. "You still have me."

The snake hissed, and dropped on the ground. "Like that's a consolation, all that Evil, and now I'm going to have to start from scratch."

Eve smiled. "Good luck, I already know all your tricks."

"I'll go after Adam, let men give birth this time around." The snake said simply.

"Better not." Eve almost warned, but it was hard to tell from that smile. "It's funny, I can't even remember what the world was like. I just remember our little game."

"Not so funny." The snake grumbled. "It took so long for me to think up all those nasty sins, and now I can't even remember a one.”

They watched the rainbowy sunrise slowly come over the distant mountains. Slowly, eons of suffering began to lift from her. Stress and pain, and so much suffering now little more than an ache in her shoulder, and soon it wouldn't be even that.

"I think this time around I'm going to be your teacher."

The snake scoffed and shook it's head. Thought it's beady eyes were still fixed on the tantilizling sunset on the horizon. "What could you possibly have to teach me? All your years of experience were wiped out with the wish."

Eve shrugged again and put her hand over the vile creature. "Just the little things I guess. How to love and be loved, stuff like that."

The snake sniffed, and shifted closer. "You've got your work cut out for you."

Eve smiled at the little thing, he hadn't seen her so perfect in an eternity. "I spent a million years trying to save my babies. I think I can spare a few trying to save you too."

The snake sighed and finally rested it's head upon her thigh. "You finally beat me, and the first thing you talk about is saving me. You're ridiculous."

"I'm just the way god made me."

"Yeah, he gave you that damn perfect heart... I'm glad there's still room in it for me."

The End!
