Chapter 160 by Sarckle Sarckle

What's next?

Going Solo

Daisy and Paris go off to share more stories of their childhoods. Cindy Hallow steals Jack on “official” Celadon Laurels business. Yuruki calls it an early night. Which just leaves you and the boys, or at least it would but they ran off with Opal on some bug hunt. You’re alone for the night, sure you could just go back to the room, sleep till morning or prep for your battle against Paris. But where’s the fun in that?

The lines to all the bars were long again tonight. But you aren’t worried about getting in, as one of the tournament participants you’re a short term celebrity at least until the event is over. You pick one and the bouncer recognizes you and lets you in.

The place is crowded, you make your way to the bar to get a drink. “Oh my gosh are you Amber of Pallet Town? Here let me buy you a drink,” the man next to you offers. “I’m rooting for you out there.”

He isn’t the last person to recognize you tonight. A couple others offering you drinks or wishing you luck. You wind up dancing with a few of them. The night is going well, you’re having fun even if you find yourself wishing your friends were out with you.

“Amber?” you turn expecting another fan. It was still flattering but you were growing tired of all the attention. You wonder how Yuruki puts up with it, but you’ll have to get used to it if you want to become an Elite 4 member, and eventually Champion of the Indigo League.

“Kelly?” you were surprised to see the woman you knocked out during the preliminary rounds. “Sorry about knocking you out.”

“It’s fine, I would’ve knocked you out given the chance,” she smiles, finishing her drink. “Can I ask you about your, um you know?”

It took you a second, “Oh, that was just a side effect of a **** someone dosed me with.”

“So you don’t, um have it anymore?” she asks. She almost sounds disappointed.

“All gone,” you laugh. “Can I get you a drink?” you offer.

“It’s the least you could do,” she laughed. “Also make sure you win the whole thing, it will make me feel better if I lost to the winner.”

“Deal,” you say holding up your new drink for a toast.

“I actually think I just had bad luck in those rounds. Everyone I lost to are still in the tournament. You, that Douglas of Lavender Town, and Humphrey Daniels of Goldenrod City.” She sips her drink, “Or at least I tell myself it was just bad luck.”

You laugh alongside her. You and Kelly wind up swapping numbers, she admits that she kind of wishes you still had a dick. Your conversation ends when another girl asks you to dance. Her body grinding up against yours. You love the feel of her hands exploring your body on the dance floor.

She goes to get the two of you drinks, while you visit the bathroom. You scream when you feel someone grab your hair, they trip you pushing you to the ground. You catch yourself, and turn to look up at Ashley.

“Didn’t I tell you to mind your own business?” she sneers.

You move to get up but she places her foot against your shoulder impeding your progress. The angle gives you a clear view up her skirt. “We just wanted to know,” you growl.

“Why? It’s not like he’s going to be a father to any of them. I’m the only one of us that matters,” Ashley snarls. “Daisy, Alice, Chris, Douglas, none of them, none of them matter at all.”

You take note of the other names she mentioned. Are there 2 more siblings that you don’t know of? “Why do you care so much? They just want to know who their father is.”

“They don’t have a father,” she pushes harder. She’s practically standing on you, your shoulders pinned to the dirty floor of the bathroom. “If you were smart you’d run, give up on being a trainer, live a pathetic simple life back in Pallet,” she twists her foot with each statement.

“I’ll never give up,” you wince as her foot digs into your shoulder.

“Then you’re as dumb as I thought.” She spits in your face before walking away.

At the sound of the bathroom door slamming shut, you pick yourself up off the floor. You wash the spit from your face, before finally getting a chance to use the bathroom. When you make your way back to the dance floor, you see the girl you were dancing with, but she’s moved on dancing with someone else.

It’s probably for the best. After the confrontation in the bathroom, you’re not in the party mood anymore. You leave heading back to the room. Alice and Chris. You know you’ll have to tell Daisy, but you decide to wait till you’re in person. You don’t want to ruin her night, let her and Paris enjoy their sisterly hang out.

You enter the room, all the lights are off. You slip into the bathroom for a shower. You’re sweaty from dancing. Plus your skin crawls thinking about the filth that might be on you from being pinned to the bathroom floor.

After your shower, you crawl into bed next to Yuruki. She stirs, not quite waking, but she hugs you tight on instinct. You fall asleep in Yuruki’s strong arms. You try to focus on your battle with Paris in the morning rather than the trouble you could be in with this Team Rocket business.
