Chapter 5 by Coy-toy Coy-toy

Can you determine the tracks?

Goblin tracks

They looked human, but smaller. At first you though maybe a child, but they were far to deep, indicating something heavier. After a few seconds, you remember your teachings and conclude they must belong to a goblin. While a lone goblin should be easy enough to handle, if this was a scout for a bigger group, you could be in for trouble.

Your only experience has been seeing dead goblins in the village, brought to teach youngsters of the monsters. You decide to go over what you were taught. Goblins were the size of large children, and always male. They specialize in theft when in small groups, especially of live stock and women. They used the women to increase their numbers until they could overwhelm, and then they attack in number. They weren't seen as particularly bright, but could scavenge tools and techniques if they were allowed to survive. This is why the policy of your village was to always kill goblins on sight, as if you let one get away they could start the process anew.

Seeing only one set of tracks, you are tempted to score your first accomplishment, minor though it may be.

Do you follow the tracks?
