Go visit Shade

You stroll through town, attracting more than just a passing glance from most folk that you see. You think someone might even be following you, though you haven't caught a glimpse of more than a shadow here and there, so you could be imagining it. You reach Shade's cottage and knock on the door.

A pretty female Raccoon answers, her fur a dark silver and her mask, hands, and rings on her tail are a deep, glossy black. Her hair is cut short, spiked, and dyed blue to match her eyes. "Hello," she says with a smile. "Can I help you?"

"I was looking for Shade," you say. "I'm a friend of his."

"Oh, nice to meet you!" she says. "I'm Ellie. I lived next door to Shade when we were growing up, before he moved out west. I'm here for a visit."

"Wonderful to meet you, too," you say. "Is Shade home?"

"Oh, he had to go out to do something in one of the fields," she says with a dismissive wave. "I've no head for farming, let me tell you. Would you like to come in and wait for him? I could make some tea."
