Go to the basement to help Lilly

I guess I should go see about helping Lilly in the basement. I’m sure she could use my help finishing setting things up. Of course he could just want me to go down stairs so that Lilly doesn’t mess around instead of finishing setting up. I get up and walk downstairs to join Lilly in the basement. Once I get down the stairs, Lilly turns to me and waves me over to the table.

Lilly: “This sucks helping Brad set up. He said that once I’m done that I should go back upstairs because I’m not welcome to the party due to my age.”
Me: “That sucks. I think you should be able to join the party. I’ll talk to him about letting you join the party if you want me too.”
Lilly: “Could you do that for me? I would be so grateful!”
Me: “Sure, I can do that.”
Lilly: “We are almost done anyway. Let’s just finish and then you can join me in my room till the party starts… or we could pull a prank on everyone.”
Me: “What would we do in your room and what kind of prank are we talking about?”
Lilly: “I’ve got some good stuff to put in the punch if you want to do the prank, but if you want to join me in my room then it’s up to you on what we do.”
Me: “Oh, ok.”
Lilly: “Let’s finish up and then you can let me know.”

We then went back to finishing up setting up the party which didn’t take long because most of it had already been done. As we finished, I heard some people pull up into the drive way as well as some others upstairs who must have walked over. I then notice Lilly looking at me waiting for an answer and from the sounds of the guest upstairs I don’t have much time to make a choice if I’m going to do the prank with Lilly.
