Go to the Park after School

The rest of the day passed by in a blur of Time Stop Shenanigans; for Double Maths, he kept moving the whiteboard pen around whenever Mrs. Thorndyke either picked it up or put it down. At Lunchtime, Annie Frost got the last slice of Boston Cream Pie, until he froze her and swapped it with his lemon sponge, that was, and he slept for most of Geography, not that Mr. Fernandez knew about it, as it's, unsurprisingly, hard to catch one of your Students sleeping in class when the Student has frozen you and the rest of the Class in time.

When the Final Bell rang, Josh headed for the Park with Sam; it felt funny, being back at the Park, as this was the place Josh had come across the MPC and discovered that it could stop Time. It was also funny being there with Sam, as he'd been the one Josh had been with when he first stopped Time. He wondered if he ought to tell Sam about being able to stop Time but then, that would mean he'd have to share the secret and Sam might also react badly to finding out Josh had been the one behind the stuff that'd happened at his place, so he decided not to tell.

Sam set about practicing on his Skateboard whilst Josh sat and watched; eventually, he got bored and decided to stop Time for a while. As he clicked the button, Sam jumped off his board and hung over it, like he was being suspended by a piece of fishing wire. Over by the Snack Hut, Cynthia and her Boyfriend, Archibald, froze up as they licked at a couple of ice creams and two Mothers pushing prams paused mid step, the one Woman halting with her mouth open.
