As she promised, Peony leads your party through terrain that would have been treacherous if not for your trusty guide and a party that's more than used to traversing the wilderness. Hours pass by, leaving you moments of silence, which surprises you given who your companions are. Though off and on, the five of you converse. It's otherwise a peaceful journey. No threats come close to Castle Phoenix, and if there are wild animals, they're either scared away, or Peony simply gestures them to leave you alone.

There's a point where Niki notices Peony ogling the shield around her arm.

"What's up, Peony?" she asks.

"I've just never seen something like that before. What exactly did that red ray do back before we left?"

"Oh, uh... It's a little weird, but it kinda floods the target with arousal if they're a girl. I don't really like explaining it because it makes me sound like a pervert, but it's kinda useful sometimes, and also it's a kickass durable shield. I got it for winning the Golden Sword."

"Wow! I think I heard people talking about that."

Eva with a smirk withdraws her tiny crystal star. "And I got this little thing saving Redbloom Academy. It gives me some extra spells."

Peony claps. "Amazing. What about you, Ms. Tedrilui?"

Amara chuckles warmly. "Ah... If you wish, you may call me Amara. We are all friends so close that I could almost call us family. But what is it that you are asking me?"

"Did you kick some butt and get something cool as a reward?"

"I suppose. Kyle and I defeated an evil necromancer, though this choker here was a gift from Lynx afterwards. It helps me control myself."

"Control yourself?"

Niki grabs Amara by the shoulder and leans in close. "Yeah. When she casts spells, she gets all wobbly-kneed, so if she doesn't have that around her neck, she'll--"

Eva sinks her fingers right into Niki's exposed midriff and goes to down in a tickling frenzy. "Leave her alone!"

"Ahahaha! Stop, stop! I will, I will!" Niki screams.

Wild animals definitely won't bother your party. Nobody would dare come near such noise.

Hours pass.

Just as was said, it comes to about the middle of the day by the time you traverse the southern tip of Featherwood and the trees become less and less dense. Peony may never have gone here, but that doesn't matter. She seems to be able to find her way through any forest with ease. Things open up, and in the distance you can see it at last--the village nestled away from the rest of Tivera.

Gobiidae is far more lovely than you expected. There are farms off to the north, though there aren't too many buildings populating the streets. It's the smallest place you've visited so far, even more than Brumberg. That explains why it isn't on any map. Either there was never point since they aren't a place for traders or travellers, or the residents prefer to remain secluded. It's close enough to where boats could sail along the coast and probably arrive in Tolis in a couple days for when they do need supplies, so it's not a bad spot. The only concern you'd have is with monsters. Regardless, you can see people out on docks casting lines for fish, and a few boats out farther. It's a quaint, peaceful village--one that would definitely be wiped out by the Demon King in an RPG.

It's a good thing Sa'dis either didn't know about them or didn't care. I know he wasn't actually there for that long. We took him out just in time. I'd hate to have seen what would have happened otherwise.

"All right. We'll go behind these rocks to change. You stay here," Eva says. "And no peeking!"

"Didn't we just have an orgy--"

"I said no peeking!" she says with a flushed face before quickly hurrying off.

Peony carefully unfolds your outfit piece by piece and lays them down on a flat stone nearby. Then she lifts back up the back, turns, and heads towards the rest of the girls. "Ooh, I can't wait to see how everyone looks. Sometimes I wish I wore clothes." She then begins to hum to herself.
