Go straight in

You’re disappointed that Dew didn’t agree with you, but you don’t want to wait outside a fancy house for hours. “It’s fine, you can stay outside if you want” you say, “but I think going in is better, and that’s what I’m going to do.” Your tone of voice makes it clear to Dew that you’ve made up your mind. She looks concerned, but she doesn’t object any further.

“Well, if you going to, I’m coming with you,” she says, “mom would skin me alive if I let you fuck this up.”

“Why such little confidence” you say, “we literally haven’t gotten close to failing before, everyone in the town has fucked me when I’ve wanted them to!”

“The nuns kidnapped you.”

“Yeah, but I left one of them all flustered afterwards.”

Dew raises her eyebrows at that. “Really? Which one?”

“Uhh…the Elf.” You say nervously, realizing that you’ve forgotten her name.

“Oh” Dew says, “that's…kinda surprising. I would’ve thought Helga would be first.” She nods to herself, clearly having an internal conversation you cannot comprehend. “Anyway, you ready to go? I presume you don’t know the way to Fiorella’s house.”

“Lead the way” you reply.

“That’s a nice house” you say in awe, staring up at the building. “What is that, three spires?”

“Yep” Dew replies, “as I said, she’s rich.”

“It’s a bit intimidating,” you admit, “I’ve never seen a house that big before.”

“You get used to it” Dew says, opening the unlocked gate, “come on.”

You feel a small chill on the back of your neck as you walk through the small garden, the building looming ever larger in the foreground. Dew knocks on the door, and after a short wait it creaks open.

“Hello” says a sharply dressed woman dressed in a deep black, “What is this?” Dew steps back a little as the two of you notice the knife in her hand, and with a subtle gulp, you step forward to speak.
