Go meet Gabby

You push out all of the thoughts that might stop you out of your head as you get ready to go out. You put on a nice shirt, double check yourself in the mirror and rush out the door.

Though you’ve never been before, you know where the Cafe is, You walk quickly, and before you know it, you’re standing outside. The negative thoughts start to creep into your head again, but you once again ignore them, and just hope that’s not the wrong decision. You take a deep breath before walking in.

“Welcome!” Cheerfully shouts the hostess at the front desk. “Table for one?” She asks as she grabs a menu.

“I’m, um, meeting someone.” You say as you start to look around, hoping you’re able to point her out.

“Oh, of course, You must be Andy.” She says as she signals you to follow her. Again, you’re flooded with questions, but you follow her anyway.

It’s not long before the hostess brings you to a small table near the middle of the room. You see a woman sitting there, you only see the back of her head at first but somehow, you know it’s Gabby.

“Here you go.” The hostess says as she pulls out your chair. You walk over and sit down.

“Why, hello, darling.” Gabby says, smiling at you. She’s even more beautiful than her picture, you can’t help but stare.

“Um… Hi.” You say nervously. You’ve never felt this way around anyone before.

“Can I get you anything?” Asks the hostess. Before you can answer Gabby chimes in.

“He’ll have a medium coffee, light cream, 2 sugars.” She says. You stare at her in surprise, as that is exactly what you were about to order.

“Great! I’ll be right back.” The hostess says as she quickly walks away.

You continue staring at Gabby as she looks back at you with a warm smile.

“I'm loving your cute surprised look.” She says sweetly. “I take it this is your first time with a witch?”

“I… think so.” You say, almost having forgot about the whole witch thing, was it actually real?

“Well, you’re in for a treat.” She says maintaining her grin. “As long as this all works out.”

There’s a brief awkward silence, you know you should continue the conversation.

“So… have you always lived around here?” you ask. Gabby chuckles at your generic question.

“We can hold off on the small talk for now.” She says “I’ve got a little test for you first, to see if it’s even necessary to keep getting to know each other.

“Um… What kind of test?” You ask hesitantly.

“Just do as I say, hun.” She says, her grin looking slightly more mischievous than sweet.
