What do you do?
Go for the wannabe elf.
Combat mode initialized. No matter what, don't let a single person get hurt!
Whatever it is these two robbers expected, it wasn't you. The speed at which you move catches them both completely off guard. As you run, you make note of their stance--position of their weapon, time in which it would take them to fire. You strafe to the side a moment before arrival, causing the purple-haired man's aim to be far too slow. However, he'll still surely fire. So you lunge out and grab his wrist to snap upwards. Something definitely went past the angle it's supposed to bend, but the gun fires, burning a hole in the ceiling instead.
"Aah, shit! Shit!" the man cries, dropping the weapon to the ground.
Before he can speak again, you reel back to slam a fist to his stomach. Wait! You hesitate. He's an unarmoured thug. Pull your punch. Then you slam it right into his solar plexus, knocking the air from his lungs. He flops to the ground after that.
You turn your head to the shorter man, but at the same time, he presses a button on his belt. Suddenly, blue flames erupt from his boots, and he soars backwards down the length of the bus, all while aiming his weapon forwards as he flies. Due to the difficulty, two of the shots plink off the walls, but as you're running after him, one grazes your shoulder.
Though, you hardly notice. The blast leaves a mark, but ricochets off to the floor. You stop in your tracks, and instead of pursuing him and risking somebody catching a stray blaster shot, you hold your left palm forwards. I know I can do this. I can feel it. Initializing laser cannon!
The man's eyes widen as the bottom half of that arm transforms. Segments painlessly open up, exposing shimmering metal beneath. They rearrange yourself, and after a brief moment, instead of said appendage ending in a hand, most of the thing is a glowing, humming laser gun of your own. With it aimed directly at him, you know you won't miss.
"Drop it. Now," you say.
His arms shake. With a nod, he lets the weapon fall to the ground, just like the other.
