Go for her gear

Sitting on the mat, Toni smiles as the momentum has swung her way once again. She nods her head to the beat of the fans chanting “let's go Io!” She even starts to clap along with them as she gets to the feet, mocking them. Toni pulls her pants back over her butt, causing the fans to boo the covering up of her body. They won’t stop her though. This is her chance, her moment, and she is going to take it.

Io is fueled by the chants from the crowd as she uses the ropes to stand back up. She turns around and immediately eats a nasty headbutt from Toni Storm that staggers her! The sounds from both of their skulls colliding even causes the NXT Universe to shout in shock. Just as Io begins to fall forward, Toni spins her around, wraps her arms around her, and throws her backwards with another German Suplex. Once Io hits the mat, Toni pushes off with her feet and rolls on top of Io’s legs. With Io pinned down, Toni yanks Io’s gear down again to expose her panties.

The gear goes past Io’s butt once more and slides down her thighs. Io’s ass is upside down in the air and getting more and more exposed by the millisecond. Just when the gear wraps around Io’s knees, she is able to push Toni off of her legs. Now having escaped Toni for the moment, Io turns onto her stomach and starts crawling to the ropes to collect herself. Toni is not going to allow this as she, herself, regroups just as fast and pounces back at Io’s slipping gear.

The Genius of the Sky screams out as the gear goes down her legs even more to reveal her tiny knee pads that were hidden underneath. She tries to kick her legs, hitting Toni a few times, but that mostly just causes her ass cheeks and thighs to jiggle. Io rolls onto her back now and looks down at her matching red underwear, her exposed skin glistening under the lights, and finally the hungry eyes of Toni Storm. Toni is literally inches from becoming champion, and Io has to do anything she can to save herself!

As the attire pools itself around her shin and ankles, Io pulls her legs in and then kicks them out to send Toni backwards! Toni goes backwards, loses her balance, and falls right onto her butt. All this does is anger Storm, who gets back up and stomps towards Shirai. Io rushes to pull her gear back up and is only able to get it just above her knees before Toni grabs her by the hair. Toni forces Io up to her feet, revealing Io’s entire ass in just her thong once again to the world.

Just when it seems like Toni is about to perform a move, Io shoots her hand out and connects it with Toni’s jaw. The palm strike causes Toni to lose her grip on Shirai, allowing the champion to jump into the air, wrap her legs around Toni’s head, and flip her to the mat with a Hurricanrana! Toni lays on her back hurting, which gives Io the chance to pull her gear the rest of the way up to cover her lower half and allow for some peace of mind. It’s harder to fight for your championship when your clothes are around your feet.

Shirai decides to climb up the ropes again, and is in perfect position for a moonsault. As Io stands up on the top rope, Toni Storm is once again the quicker of the two and actually runs up the second rope herself. Storm wraps her arms around Shirai’s waist for what feels like the hundredth time tonight and falls back for a German Suplex off the top rope! Toni lands flat on her back but Io is able to complete a backflip and land right on her feet!

Seeing this, Toni tries to get up as soon as possible. Io runs towards Toni and goes for a shotgun dropkick, but Toni is able to catch Io in the air and drop her with a fast powerbomb! Io lays motionless on the mat. Shirai almost has nothing left in her… almost… and Toni knows this. She knows that Io is almost done, but not yet. She needs the final nail in the coffin to win this championship.
