Go back in and see what’s on the “other menu”

Alex decides if he is going to be a true squire, he can't run away from something as silly as scoffing and jeers. He steels himself against whatever he might face, and makes his way back into the establishment.

He walks through the door and is again greeted by Kelly.

"Well, hello, handsome," she says. "Couldn't keep yourself away, could you? What can I interest you in this time?"

Alex takes a deep breath and says, "I'd like to check out the 'other menu' you mentioned earlier." He feels his face grow red as he says it, but he maintains eye contact with her and tries not to look as insecure as he feels.

"I kind of thought you might want to," she says, knowingly. "Food only goes so far in satisfying a man, doesn't it?"

She beckons him over to a sofa along one of the walls and has him sit. She then directs his attention to the rest of the room. "Do you see any ladies here who interest you? If not, we have more upstairs, and most of them will be finishing up shortly." She smiles, as if to some inside joke. "Or you can give me an idea of your type of gal, and I'll pick one out for you."

"And the prices?" Alex asks, uncomfortable to have to discuss such things.

"That all depends on what you want to do," she answers.
