Go With The Merchant

You sheathed your sword and let out a small sigh, "You swear to us that you can get us into the city?"

The Merchant let out a large smile, "Yes! Yes! I am with the guild there, it will be no problem. A favor for a favor right?"

"Well, then we'll join you." You said with a nod,

"Excellent!" The merchant said with a clap, "My name is Tarik, spice trader of Genus! Please come inside, rest your feet. I need you prepared in case of the worst." Tarik quickly turned around and squeezed back into the little carriage.

Kent and Jenessa both looked at you with uncertainty but slowly got into the carriage. You pulled yourself in as well and closed the door. Despite the small look of the carriage the interior of it was extremely nice. The seats had cushions sewed onto them and the walls were aligned with fabric. "Well, this is a very impressive carriage."

"Yes, yes, many years it took for me to make it the exact way I wanted." Tarik replied as he rubbed the walls, "Only the finest fabric and finest horses pull it."

"Really? So what is your estimate of our trip?" Kent asked leaning back,

"Hmmm, three days! My driver is extremely able and as I said the finest horses pull this wagon. Three days no more." Tarik replied firmly,

"Well, hopefully, the three days will go smoothly," Jenessa replied,

"Yeah here's hoping." You replied in agreement.
