With that you give a small nod to your partner, her toothy grin widens and when the teacher turns away she tosses it into the cauldron.

The cauldron rattles softly as the twig is melted down, its essence blending with the fairy’s blood.

It takes on a rich viridian hue as the contents of the cauldron reach their final point.

“Alright students, that’s enough mixing, now empty the contents of the cauldron into a bottle for inspection!”

Doing as told, you pour it into a small bottle, swishing it around you see that where the residue of the liquid is left on the inside of the bottle, a strange flowery moss forms. You probably shouldn’t drink this.

The Professor walks among the workstations giving tips on how to improve the quality next time.

When she reaches you, she stares into your potion perplexed for a moment before the realization dawns on her.

“Ah… well I am a woman of my word, you may take that with you, but next time I strongly suggest you stick to the program” and with that she moves on.

The class ends and as the students file out your partner examines the potion, swishing it around slowly.

“Awesome… hey, thanks for being cool about this, here, you can have it as a symbol of your academic initiative… or something”

She says thrusting the bottle into your hand.

“I’ll see you around! I look forward to working with you again!” She says before running off, her reptilian tail dragging along the floor behind her.
