Chapter 12
by RicoLouis
What's next?
Gladly try the spell on her nipples.
“Very well.” I said as I put my fingers together and cast the spell and rubbed them in circles around her nipple. I could feel her nipples respond almost as if hardening into response to my magic. “Well?” I asked as I kept casting the spell moving outward slowly.
“Feels muffled. I can still feel it but it is not as strong but still makes my nipples hard.” She smiled slyly as she looked at me.
“What in the world are you two doing?” A voice said and I looked over to see my Cousin Gabby with a tray of dishes as she was followed quickly behind by Gwen who blushed slightly as she covered her mouth. I quickly pulled my hands away feeling embarrassed at being caught in the position.
“Trying to get him to heal my sore breasts but I think you just killed my chances.” Freya shrugged and threw Gabby a smirk.
“I see how it is. You will heal her breasts but not my sore feet cousin.” Gabby teased as she walked over setting the tray down beside the wash basin. I would assume it was the rest of the bowls from the adventurers party.
“In his defense she has really big breasts.” Gwen said as she giggled and covered her mouth.
“Thanks.” Freya nodded appreciatively.
“So. You are a mage then?” Gwen looked at me.
“Not sure if I would go that far?” I shook my head. “I know two spells. I can only heal minor wounds and ease someones pain and that is it.” I replied.
“Well when you are done playing with her breasts these are the last of the dinner dishes to wash.” Gabby smirked at me.
“Thanks.” I replied.
“Here. For healing my neck at the very least.” Freya reached in her coin purse and pulled out a silver and put it in my hand giving it a warm squeeze. It felt a little awkward that she wasn't trying to pick or tease me while doing it.
“Of course Freya. Anytime.” I nodded. I was partly glad she hadn't tried to pay me for the breasts as well and make it weirder then it already was.
“I should get back out there before the guys try to run off with the chest.” Freya gave my hand another squeeze and let it go.
“Hey. If you have time tomorrow before you head out you should visit the tailor. I am sure Gwen's mom could maybe sew a lining in your bustier to help with the leather chaffing thing.” I said as I thought of another way that might help her without saying where it was chaffing per say.
“I am sure she could. A linen tunic might help also and keep you cool and help with that.” Gwen added.
“Thanks. I will go buy a tunic if nothing else while I have the coin.” Freya nodded and headed out.
“I think she likes you?” Gwen teased as she moved closed almost whispering in my ear.
“She would crush me.” I shook my head and smiled as I went back to the wash basin.
“You didn't seem to hate touching her breasts any.” Gabby joined in on picking on me.
“Don't you two have work to do?” I gave them a look as I began to scrap the bowls they had brought back.
“I was showing Gwen where we take the dirty dishes and feel up our guests breasts.” Gabby replied making Gwen giggle.
“Ha ha.” I shook my head and started putting the bowls in the water. They headed back out front and I went back to doing the dishes though I couldn't get the thought of Freya's breasts out of my head. I finished up and set the bowls out to dry as I stacked them face down on the shelves for breakfast in the morning. I suppose I should get used to working back here as I would have less to do out front once Gwen was trained other then clearing tables and keeping the fire stocked. Dad and Gareth typically minded the bar and the girls would handle serving the guest but less work wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
I dumped the trash in the slop barrel out back and closed it up and then headed back into the Barroom. Jon had apparently given up on Arwyn and was in the middle of a game with the adventurers who each had a full bag of coin in front of them. Arwyn and Freya were at a table drinking by themselves as Freya was paying my Aunt Caris in a stack of silver.
“Here take these to the ladies would you.” Gareth nodded to Freya and Arwyn as he had filled up two new mugs. Gabrielle was busy at the second serving drinks to another large table of Sawyer's little group of woodcutters who came in almost every night.
“Of course. I have some eggs I can boil up in the morning as well if you like so you can have them on your trip.” My aunt nodded. She was obviously making up provisions for their trip wherever they were going next. She cook extra bread and stuff in the morning for them to see them where they were going.
“So I take it you ladies will not be here tomorrow night?” I smiled as I came over setting the mugs down as Freya was closing the chest that was still pretty full. I guess they had gotten there cut and were suppose to return the rest of the coin to whomever hired them. Sure they could easily take the money and run but then they never work in these parts again and someone can easily hire someone else to hunt them down.
“Afraid not. We got a wagon full of stolen goods outside we have to see back to the merchants guild and return their coin minus our share.” Freya replied and tossed back the picture of ale as her throat bulged with an audible gulp with each swallow.
“Slow down. I am not carrying you up to the room if you pass out.”
“Don't worry about me feather weight.” Freya smiled as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. “If I drink to much I can sleep it off in back of the wagon on our way to Hollow Hills.”Freya said. Hollow Hills was a city built around a castle named Hollow Hall that sat on a Hill and was home to the baron. It was one of the few castles I had ever actually say and home to the baron and his family. It took the better part of the day to get there. The town itself had a few hundred people total.
Arwyn shook her head at her friend then looked over at me. “I have a bone to pick with you mister.” Arwyn said as she interlocked her fingers and rested her chin on them. A playful smirk playing on her lips.
“What did I do now?” I replied.
“Healing Freya after you almost collapsed earlier. Even if it was a smaller spell you should be resting.” Arwyn threw me a look as she glanced up at me with her emerald green eyes.
“Sorry. I was just trying to help and I feel a lot better after that little potion you gave me.” I shrugged and leaned on the table.
“Still. It don't restore magic. No more healing tonight please cutie.” Arwyn reached over and touched my hand. “Though your willingness to push yourself is commendable.”
“She says if you do it again she will have to give you a spanking though you might like that?” Freya said with a laugh.
“Freya.” Arwyn threw her friend a look and swatted at her with her hand.
“Fine. I promise no more healing tonight. Anything else you like to get onto me for.” I rolled my eyes.
“Well you did say Freya's breasts were better then mine.” Arwyn glanced up at me as sly ran her finger around her mug slowly.
“I said most guys prefer them bigger actually and she shouldn't feel jealous of you because most men like them big.” I shrugged.
“Can't argue there. Most men prefer women with a fuller figure. All I have is a pretty face.” Arwyn responded.
“And a nice ass.” Freya added.
“Thanks.” Arwyn blushed slightly as she shook her head at her friend.
I left the women to talk and joke as I went to replenish the fireplace. Tomas Carpenter and his fellow carpenters came in and Tomas went to the bar to talk to Gareth though I saw him no so subtly checking out the female adventures. Tomas had served in the war like with Gareth but had managed to come back unhurt unlike so many others like Gareth who had come back injured or others who had not come back at all. Of course part of the reason was he had been a engineer digging tunnels and building catapults and such. Now he built houses and barns for either side of the river and had mostly taken over his fathers business. He called Oakbridge home because of the sawmill but his work took him wherever he could find work. He vanish for weeks or months to some project or another then show back up when he was done. Currently he was working at the farmstead across the river as they were building a new barn for Sam's dad and doing work on the animal fences. I saw Gabby go over to greet him warmly. Sadly he was married or the two of them might have made a nice couple.
As the night went on and twilight drew to a close most town's folks left to use what little light was left to see their way home so they could start the workday tomorrow. Leaving mostly guest staying through the night. I saw my uncle talking to the wool merchant.
“So you won't rent me another room? I will pay double.” He said. I already knew my uncles answer before he had said it.
“I don't have any extra rooms besides I run a tavern and not a warehouse friend. I will not turn away a person just so you can store more wool for a night or two. I am sorry but that is the rule. I can store it in the cellar or the loft above the stables if you like.”
“Neither are ideal for keeping wool. I need someplace warm and dry and that doesn't smell of horseshit.” The wool merchant said.
“What about the woodshed?” I said coming over.
“What about it?” My uncle asked as he glanced at me.
“It's empty right now and nice and dry. Your nephews took all of the barrels we been keeping in there and we burned through all the firewood.” I shrugged. The merchant had spent enough coin here and around town to make me want to see him stay a night or two more before he went on his way.
“I suppose if we aren't using it at the moment but you will need to provide your own lock or something or if you won't to sleep in there with it but I will still charge you for the space.” My uncle relented knowing he wasn't losing anything and making a few silver more with the guy staying.
“I can do that. I just need it for a few days to fill up on what I can.” The merchant said and paid my uncle some coin. My uncle looked at me and shook his head as he put the coin in the strong box. My uncle hated special request like that and he got a lot of them. He had certain rules and unless you were paying in gold coins or had a noble title he wasn't likely to start bending them. Gareth would be a little more lenient when he took over eventually but I was sure after a few years of running the place he make his own rules.
“It isn't possible to ship things down stream from here is it?” The merchant asked.
“Depends. How do you feel about water falls. You can go about as far south as herders crossing.” My uncle replied with a smile. While the falls were not big they were several of them. At least three that I knew of and maybe more. If not for those the trip to Lakeholm would be a quick trip down river.. I left my uncle and the merchant and went to clear some empty mugs from a empty table and carry them into the back where Aunt Caris was showing Gwen how we cleaned out the mugs. As I came back Arwyn was helping Freya toward the stairs as the barbarian woman had had one to many to drink.
