Giving Away Clothes to People in Need

"The sponsor has chosen a trial well-suited to you, oh graceful goddess. If you truly are as charitable as you say you are, then you won't turn away these flocks of the needy, will you?" Medusa sneered, a massive smile spreading in the darkness. "You wouldn't deny them anything they asked for."

"It's weird to hear you being this wordy, Medusa. Why don't you just get to the point?" Palutena questioned, with an increasingly uneasy feeling growing in her gut.

As she looked around, the darkness seemed to slowly brighten. Brighter... brighter... Actually, now quite bright. What had been a void of stars and space now appeared to be the front stage of a shopping mall, festively decorated for the Christmas holiday that Palutena had heard of, but which had no place in her own world. She didn't mind that, but what was more concerning were the hordes of shoppers, all running around busily to finish their last-minute holiday shopping. The sound of bells filled the air along with the laughter of mall Santas, who, while dressed similarly to Palutena in terms of color, were all blessed with a lot more fabric. The goddess could feel herself getting some stares as the mall-goers slowed down in their frantic run to admire the tight fit of her skirt.

"Ha ha ha... this feels... more awkward than I thought it would," Palutena laughed to herself, tugging her skirt down slightly as people gathered from all directions, as though they were going to start giving her their wishes like she was an actual mall-Santa. The thought of one admirer asking to see her in a cute outfit had been kind of pleasant, but having this many people ogling her at such a close distance was a bit much. "But I'd hardly call it a challenge. What's the game, Medusa? I just have to play Santa for all these people?"

Unseen by the others, Medusa's face grinned its fangs down from where the glass ceiling of the mall ought to be. "In a sense, yes. These puny humans will come to you with wishes and requests, begging their goddess-- or their Santa-- to give them just what they need for the holidays. You'll give them what they want, or else, you can say goodbye to any gift from our sponsor." Medusa paused for a moment, then rolled her eyes. "Plus, you'll be ruining the holidays for them and all that."

As if on cue, the needy customers seemed to become needier, their eyes taking on some of the harried urgency that she'd seen in the ones running about the store earlier. They closed in closer, each struggling to make their voices heard over one another. Palutena could see she was going to have to shepherd them if she wanted to grant anybody's wish. "As is my lot for all humans. Hm hm," she chuckled to herself dryly, before spreading her arms with a merry smile. "Fear not, mortals! I am nothing if not generous to the people of the surface. If there is anything at all that I can grant you, I'll do all that is within my power." She was putting on her benevolent goddess face more than her charitable Mrs. Santa one, but she figured that would work just as well.

Now, what were these folks so **** to get from her, anyway?

((From here on out, I'll be having some fun rolling to see how much Palutena loses each chapter! I'll go with 30 durability and roll a 1d10 to see how much she's **** to strip off.
