"After we find what Zara left." You threaded magic throughout your body to not fall to the ground as they used their magic to weight you down. When your staggering returned to normal walking there was a huff.

"But I want sex now not later." Eve complained as she weight you down a new. Your normal walk got a bit slower so you threaded more magic.

This battle of wills didn't last long. It's end came when you lifted your foot for a step and one that was still on the ground cracked the stone slab beneath it. You lost balance and stumbled to the side. Since all the weight was coming from the woman on your back and not you, the changed centre of gravity sent said women tumbling off you.

"EEEEE!" Delilah let out as she landed on the floor cracking another stone slab beneath her. "Owww!" She moaned rolling onto her side.

"NO!" Delilah whined. "That really hurt."

"Where does it hurt?" You asked hoping that any broken bone could be easily healed.

"Here." Delilah said pointing at her butt and you reached down to touch it. If her hip had been broken, fixing it with magic could take time depending on where and how it had broken. As you ran your hand over it she stopped whining for a moment. You look at and she suddenly looked pained. "No, there." She moved your hand on her ass. "Does it feel ok?"

You couldn't feel any uncommon bulges or indications of broken bones. You rubbed a bit to see if you could find why she was still moaning in pain. "If feels fine. Maybe it's your leg?" You were getting a bit worried. If it was displaced pain would her magic heal correctly?

"NO!" Delilah shouted and grabbed your hand and put it back on her butt. "It feels better when you rub." She had a smirk on her face and wiggled against your hand.

You wanted to give her a flat stare as you figured out she was doing but fall for it was your fault. You pulled your hand away, "Up you get sneaky." You lifted her with her hand and she had a smug expression.

"Fine." Eve sighed. "Let be quick but." She jogged to the front door and opened it for you. Well it might be improvement. You looked back to see the two cracked stone slabs. You were going to have to replace those. At least unlike when Stephanie demanded you clean up after yourself you were well aware of where to get the granite for two new slabs. Though these are the first one inside the house, most of the slabs in the courtyard had been replaced over the years by you or others.

"And after we fix the slabs." You add joining them at the door.

"But Christopher, that'll take agggeeesss." Eve whined. "Oh wait." She looked thoughtful at you. "You can fix them as fast as the ones in courtyard right?" Delilah asked.

"Maybe." You said getting a happy smile from them as they ran outside to the crest stone. You followed after her. The crest stone was in the centre of the front yard. It was a circle of your family crest, A massive phoenix with wings outstretched. If you lay down with your feet in the centre and reached your arms out, your fingertip would almost touch the edge. It is a massive slab of stone.

Before you just got to lifting you walked around the perimeter you looked for a key hole or slot, something that would mean you did have to pull the entire thing out of the ground. Delilah stood in the centre watching you walk around. "Hurry up." She mumbled as you finished your lap. You walked it again looking for anything magically visible, you didn't have to but she needed to learn some level of patience. "Fine then I'll do it." She walked to the edge and stuck her finger nails into the gap between the crest stone and the surrounding slabs. Her arms tensed as she lifted but the crest stone stayed unmoved. She frowned and you saw magic band around her arms and legs as she lifted again. The crest was unmoved. "Huh." She vocalised her surprised at her lack of success.

You went opposite her and got your fingers and magic ready. "Three, two, one hup." You lifted together using a bit of your magic but the crest didn't move. You stopped lifting and look at it again. For it's size the two of your should be able to do this without much effort. On your own you should be able to do this without that much trouble. "Huh." You took your turn to vocalise. You threaded more magic through your body and banded your limbs, she did the same. You lifted again and the crest didn't shift.

You stood up and looked at it suspiciously. "What is this thing made of?" Eve moaned as she stood up and drove her heel into one of the phoenix's wings. Aside from a thud there was no evidence anything had hit it. "Huh?"

"Maybe my dad knows more about it." You said tapping the birded head. You were a little disappointed the tap hadn't done anything then remembered something. Your mother's letter from yesterday and specifically the part about her ring. You took it from your neck and held it over the crest. There was no change. You walked around it holding the ring by it's string thinking it might be pulled towards something but there was nothing.

"Try here." Eve said pointing at the centre of the crest. You held out the ring and put it down on the crest but there was no change. You picked up the ring and looked around the yard. Maybe there was a hidden latch somewhere. Eve had the same idea as she went looking. "We could have been naked by now." She called out in complaint.

"I know. Keep looking." You replied walking to the edge of the yard. If there was a hidden latch surely you would have found it in the last decade. None-the-less you kept looking, Eve gave up pretty quickly and come over to hug but mostly grope you. You made no comment since you figured engaging at this point was only encouragement.

Beneath the slab you saw the problem. The crest stone wasn't a massive circle it was in fact a much larger circle. Now that you've figured it out you lifted up all of the other slabs that were in the way. The edge of the crest stone was still deeper than your could reach but got to lifting. Because of your position Eve had had to pull her hand away and was giving you a silent huff. "You can help or this can take even longer." You said. After a moments pause she appeared at your side and grabbed crest you both had most of your magic dedicated to lifting neither wanting to waste time. "Three, two, one." You both lifted and the crest came up. It was bigger than your thought and Eve ran around to the other side to lift it up. When you got it out of the ground it came up to your waist. Setting it down you looked into the hole and saw a column in the middle that was just shorter than the crest.

The two of your jumped into the hole and walked towards it. It had a ring shaped indent on top. You took the ring from around your neck and slid the cord free from it. You held it to the slot and it fell inside perfectly. Nothing happened. You spun the ring in the slot. Nothing happened. You took it out and flipped it over then put it back inside. Nothing happened.

"So can we have sex, then fix all this?" Delilah asked.

You let out a sigh and looked at the with it's eight filled in dot. Correction nine filled in dot, another one was present. When had that happened and why?

Delilah clapped her hand making you look up at her. "Please, I'm sorry for," she paused for a moment, "being a brat. But I really want to have sex and so does Eve." Delilah said looking frustrated. "Also it is two to one so more want to have sex than don't want to have sex." Eve added for good measure.
