Desperate from the dangers around you, you decide to give yourself up to the authorities.

You couldn't have made a worse decision.

Contrary to the popular belief, the Coalition doesn't keep their lifelong prisoners in proper prisons, where they would have access to at least some basic comforts. Instead, they dress their subjects into inescapable security suits, and lock them inside tubes filled with breathable liquid. Kept in this state a human could live up to a hundred and thirty years. A very lonely and very gruesome hundred and thirty years.

Aside from the feeding tube that delivers food into your mouth in regular intervals, and the additional tubes in your openings that take care of your wastes, there is absolutely nothing that would happen to you. At the glassy wall of the tube all you can see is your face. A face that is getting older with each passing year.

In the end you stop wiggling in the tube. And you just float there. Waiting for the inevitable that you know would eventually happen.
