“Heeey, Warren. What’s up?” Tom sounds surprised to hear from me.

“Just checking in on ya, buddy. How is the job situation?” I say, letting my Tease-induced erection cool off.

“Oh you know—wandering my apartment for days on end, opening cupboards at random hoping some better food will magically appear while I wait for a job callback. And my noisy-ass upstairs neighbors sound like they are giving birth and bowling at the same time. EVERY. DAY. It's great.”

“Awful! Sorry to hear that.”

“Hey, I don’t have any problems that turning the volume up on my porn won’t fix.”

“Niiice! That’s a life hack I’ll have to remember. What is this job you are waiting to hear about?”

“I have been talking to an previous employer and I did a couple small independent contractor gigs for him to get by he might have something else for me if I’m lucky. But it’s just a holding pattern for now. How is life with the boss bitch?”

“Rough, but the avenging angel has been up to mischief.”

“Oh! That will brighten my weekend in a hurry. What happened?”

“I’m afraid I will have to tell you that later. There is something you should check out now...”

I send him a link to Tonya’s Twitch channel and tell him it will be starting up shortly. I make a soft sales pitch that if he is interested, he can use his free time to act as a moderator and assistant for her, volunteering to start, possibly getting paid for it as her channel grows. He agrees to take a look so, after ending the call, I text Tonya to give her the heads up.

I’m impressed that Tonya is taking her new channel seriously. If she keeps at it she will learn a lot, whether or not she has much success. Also, if I ever want to start following my own advice to not engage The Tease, this is my best shot to keep her occupied. That might help me get my head on straight about the Victoria problem.
