Gifted Class

Heading into my class i wasn't very surprised to find the most of the most of the class seated with their school materials ready. In the front row was a goth girl and hipster dressed girl chatting befor class started. Behind them was an adorable cheerleader and a cute brown hair girl gossiping and giggling. And finally alone at the corner desk of the class is Cecilia.

"Ok class im Mr King. For the rest of the school year I'll be your english teacher. Obviously being part of the gifted program, I'll hold you to higher standards. That beeing said I dont plan to make this class all work no play. I would like us all to get along throughout the school year. So lets start this class dynamic on the right foot by introducing ourselves by statingyour name and a fun fact about yourself. Lets start in the front of the room with you," i say gesturing to the goth in the front room.

With an annoyed sigh, the pale girl stood up and introduced herself. "My name is Charlotte and not so fun fact im related to principal She-Bitch and the airheaded bimbo in the delinquent class." And without another word she sat back down ignoring the giggles and sneaking the hipster a small fist bump.

Ah the elder daughter of our beloved principal. No one really knows what started her whole goth/Punk phase. The main rumors are either just your basic teenage rebellion or purposely trying to hurt her mothers reputation. Apparently she has a bit of a rivalry with her sister and enjoys antagonizing her family. It seems she thrives on the drama and chaos. A girl after my own heart.

"Well that was definitely a unique way to introduce yourself to the class Charlotte. Points for originality i guess", i say with a small chuckle.

Charlotte looked surprised that i didn't react negative to her or try to defend her family against her ridicule. Seem i know have a bit of the pale beauty's attention.

After the class cooled down i asked the brunette behind Charlotte to introduce herself.

"Hey ya'll. Im lily. Im from the south and when i was a kid i learned to drive a tractor before i learned how to ride a bike", she said finishing her fact with a cute smile.

Lily is a very interesting case. Originally she was on the waiting list for the tranfer students class. She was originally a student in a southern Christian all girl school but her grades were more than impressive enough to get the academy's attention. She was shot straight to the gifted class after taking Riley's place, after Rileys after school activities were discovered. Surprisingly this lead to the two becoming best friends. I guess despite Riley wanting to to resent the cowgirl for taking her spot, Lily's relentless positivity and kindness eventually wore Riley down. Now their practically inseparable.

"Now thats definitely impressive. Hopefully your first attempts on a tractor went better than my first attempt on a bike. Im pretty sure i rode straight into a mailbox", i banter with a joking tone.

After what felt like a few geniune laughs died down, i motioned for the Hipster to continue the introductions.

"Alright i guess. My names April. I love all things vintage and/or nerdy. Plus i do a little cosplay on the side." She finished her introduction with a cute little anime peace sign and once again takes her seat.

Nerdy and cool simultaneously. April is seen as overall pretty popular and well liked. Though she could mix in to basically any group, her strongest friendship is with Charlotte. April's zen demeanor is the perfect counter balance for Charlotte's intensity. Theres also whispers that their relationship isnt purely platonic. Perhaps i can find my way into this inner circle.

"Thats interesting. I was always interested into the idea of attending a con but never had the time", i said trying to find common ground with the nerdy dream girl.

"Now youve done it old man. I said the same thing once and now im dragged to every con that comes to town", responded Charlotte rolling her eyes but with a ghost of a smile on her lips. Besides her April was laughing mischievously.

After a little bit more teasing, the class continued the introduction with the cheerleader behind April.

"Heyyyy. Im Alison. I'm a member of the cheer club. Oh! Also before i got into this school i was home schooled for all previous grades." After her introduction she gives a perky smile and retakes her seat.

Ah poor little Alison. So naive and so easy to corrupt. After gaining the academy's attention with her stellar grades, she finally convinced her over protective parents to let her enroll into the prestigious school. After being nitpicked by her helicopter parents for her whole life she was beyond excited for her first taste of independence. Enter Skylar. The party girl quickly befriended and influenced the naive homeschooler. Alison wanting nothing more than to be the popular girl's best friend, follows Skylar's every idea and whim. Now she's partying and beginning to gain a reputation as a bimbo like Skylar. With her grades plummeting, her spot in the Gifted class is in question. Now im at an impasse, use my influence to help out the young girl and seduce her through kindness. Or put the finishing touches on her corruption yourself.

"Well i hope this academy is everything you dreamed of", I say as the formerly innocent cheerleader nodded enthusiastically.

And finally we finished the classes introductions with Cecilia.

"Hi everyone. Im Cecilia. I dont really have a lot of hobbies or anything but i spend a lot of my free time in the library." She poke in a very soft voice and didn't make eye contact with anyone in the class

Its nice to finally officially meet Cecilia. Shes been in my sights since i got to this school. The carmel girl is apparently the prime target for two specific bullies. Also it seems that they isolate her from the other students to keep her submissive and powerless. Seems like the best way to gain the girls favor is to both destroy her bullies grasp on her and introduce her to a friend thats already under my control.

"Nothing wrong with that. A quiet room and a good book can make for a real relaxing night." I say giving the bullied girl a reassuring smile.

The rest of class was simple overview of what the class will entail and my expectations of my students. I left the last 10 minutes of class to be free time for the students to either socialize or get a headstart on other classes homework.

While the students enjoyed the free time, i plotted my next move. Like the delinquent class, i planned to keep a student after class. The important question is who. I have about 3 options:

1. Lily: I could ask her to stay after class to talk about Riley. I could bring up that Riley has been unhappy in her new position in the school. I could claim to have kept her after class to brainstorm how we can cheer up Riley. Im sure Riley wouldn't hesitate if it meant to cheer up her friend.

2. Alison: I can hold her after class to discuss her failing grades. From there i can decide if i want to end or further her corruption. A naive girl like her will be easy to lead.

3. Cecilia: It may be time to finally talk to Cecilia about her bullies. If i offer her the right kind of support and protection she will practically beg to be one of my girls.
