Chat with Christine?

Getting to know the other coworker

Amber and Donna aren't in the office right now, maybe they are still recovering. "Hey Christine", I say, as I roll closer to her on my chair.

"What is it, James?"

"O-Oh I just wanted to talk, to get to know you better."

"James, I'm a Lesbian."

"Huh? Oh, no no, I don't have any intentions like that, Christine, don't worry. I just genuinely want to talk with you. I'm here for three months and the first week isn't even over yet. I want to get along with everyone. If you want, I can start talking about myself first." Didn't Donna mention her having bad experiences with men anyway? I guess maybe that made her realize it?

"If you bring me a coffee first." She seemed angry, maybe I should stop, honestly. Unlike Amber or Donna, I had no interest in her sexually anyway. But this is an office and I want to be friendly with everyone around here. So I make the fourth cup of coffee for someone else today.

"Don't worry about talking to me if you don't want to", I say as I hand her her cup. "But I'm getting along fine with Donna and I knew Amber well for a long while, so I had hoped we could get along, too."

She grumbled as she drank her coffee. I don't even really know why. So I gave her some space.

I checked the app again. Just the Orgasm Lock for Donna. Nothing special here. Any new traits for Donna?

New trait unlocked:
Oh so filthy

Subject will find it more pleasurable to sexually engage with user in less hygienic circumstances (within reasonable limit for user's and subject's health). These can include forests, public restrooms, and more. The subject will enjoy the filth as they will see it as more fitting for them.

This seems concerning, to say the least. But again it's only able to be deactivated through a sale. There was also a trait choice.

Option A: A filthy slut
Subject will desire to dress more like a slut and act like one. At higher submission scores, the subject will give large portions of their sex work income to the user, rationalizing said behavior to themselves while also becoming financially dependent on the user.

Option B: My filthy slut
Subject will forgo any other romantic or sexual relationship in favor of the user, choosing to garner their attention by humiliating themself and showing sexual availability through slutty appearance and demeanor.

Note: both require the trait 'Oh so filthy'

I clicked on B, the last thing I want Donna to do right now is offer her body for sex. Where were Amber and Donna though?

"Sorry for the question, Christine, but where are Amber and Donna?", I ask, while still punching the keys on my keyboard, "Oh, they don't work Friday afternoon. Before Dan had to go, it was always just us two in the office at this time." "Thanks, Christine."

It was already getting kinda late, so I wrote a bunch of mails to the relevant people that I'll be the one proofreading their texts, because otherwise Beth would have to send me the texts.

"Actually, I know something we could do. I bet Amber hasn't shown you everything around here, right?", Christine suddenly interrupting my fervent copy-pasting of email text bodies.

"She showed me around this office here. What more is there?"

"Come with me, I'm gonna bring you to the Social Media staff and the graphic designer." I don't know why I never thought of that, but of course we needed to have a social media team. And someone to design the magazine layout. As we entered the room, I could only see two women. "This over here is Floria. She does all of our social media posts. And that over there is Gloria, who is responsible for moderating the comments under our articles. Floria, Gloria, this is Dan's replacement for his three months of medical leave, James." "Nice to meet you." I say and wave at them.

Gloria addresses Christine: "Has Beth said anything about us getting new people? I've been working overtime for several weeks now." Christine shakes her head in pity: "I haven't heard anything yet." I interrupt the brief conversation, "Sorry for butting in all of a sudden, but maybe I could help a bit? Beth wanted me to edit and proofread some articles next week instead of writing my own, but they'll likely come in on Tuesday or Wednesday. If it's not too difficult, maybe I can help on Monday?"

Gloria: "I'll ask Beth, you can certainly do the easier parts of moderating. Thank you, rookie."

As I exited the room with Christine, the app told me Floria: -58SP, Gloria: -25SP As if I asked, app. I am currently trying to get along with my coworkers.

"Hi Helen! This is the guy who's gonna sub in for Dan over the next quarter", Christine shouted into the room we went to afterwards towards a rather mature-looking woman, only a bit younger than Beth. "Well, he doesn't seem like much of a sub to me." Helen winked at me, while Christine was angry with me, although probably more confused than angry. "I put the photos in the magazine and put the text around it", Helen continued, as if she never even uttered that joke, "so how do you like this office with so many hot women around you?"

I wanted to stutter my way through an answer, until Christine interrupted: "Helen, get a grip of yourself, the guy's only here for three months. No need to cozy up to him." Helen: "Never thought you could be so cold, Christine. Guys have feelings too, you know?" Christine: "And why do you care? Nothing more lesbian than flirting with every man who waltzes into your office, huh?" Helen: "You leave my sexuality out of this, young lady, or I'm gonna print his article over yours." This got Christine to shut up.

The way back was really quiet. "Christine, I think you should apologize." "I'm not gonna apologize to you, prick." "To Helen, not me. You really hurt her feelings and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out." "Oh, so I didn't hurt yours? So I can keep calling you prick?" What was it with that woman all of a sudden?

"I don't like what you called me, but I don't care that much. I've been called worse things by people that mattered more to me. And I'm probably gone in three months anyway. But how long is Helen gonna stay here? You should absolutely be less angry, but Helen takes priority here. She might be your coworker for the next what... 20 to 30 years? Apologize to her, please."

I went back to my place and finished writing some emails, while Christine stormed off in anger. Suddenly I saw two notifications: Christine +10SP (-45SP) and Helen: -1SP Wait, just -1SP? How? Was she thankful for Christine's apology? Whatever, I needed to pack up and go, I needed to be emotional support for another woman today.

I quickly wrote Christine a message through our work email, reading: "Thanks for the tour today, I know it didn't go as planned, but I'm nonetheless grateful that you showed me around. ~James"

Time to visit mom
