Chapter 130

What’s next?
Getting things done.
You’ve been so focused on the recent happenings, such as the revelation of the AMA to the girls and your new relationships with Sophia and Mia, that you’ve neglected doing things that have to be done eventually.
One of those things, or two, you guess, is meeting Emily’s and Megan’s parents. Not just because you’re serious about them, but because it feels like it’s something important for them as well.
Megan still hasn’t told her parents she’s bi, and personally you think that’s a conversation they need to have. You’re unsure about her telling them that she’s also technically dating Emily. Although apparently Ms. Miller knows her sister is dating you and Megan and she’s okay with it. You wonder if that's because of your traits or if she’s just that open minded.
Emily’s situation is no less complicated. She doesn’t hate her mother by any means, but she’s not comfortable talking about men (or women) with her at all. Especially so when Emily admitted to being serious about her relationship with you and her mother hasn’t kept a boyfriend for more than a month.
You bring this matter to them, and they agree that it’s better if they get it out of the way fast. They both say they’ll talk to their families about you first and about their… sexual orientation. Then they’ll invite you to their places.
Man, you weren’t feeling nervous about it until the plans were made.
You also start spending more time with Katherine and Jessica.
You get together with Jessica at the café near the school as promised before. You don’t think this count as a date though. It’s just… two acquaintances meeting to have a simple chat. You know, to catch up.
“So… you started going out with Sophia as well?” Jessica asks as she stirs her cup of cappuccino. She sits across from you at a table for two, right by the window.
“Yeah.” You answer after taking a sip of your black coffee. It’s kind of awkward to talk about the girl you just started dating with the girl who also wants to date you. “It happened very suddenly, I know. Neither of us really saw it coming.” You smile wryly.
Jessica smiles at you. “Hey, you don’t need to make excuses for my sake. I’m a big girl. I can take it.” She smiles. “I assume the others were okay with her, then?”
“They were.” You nod. “We’ve been sorting things out, but everything’s going well.”
“I’m curious about how you manage to divide your time.” She admits, taking a piece of her chocolate chips muffin.
“Well, I spend most of my free time with them, and we all get together whenever we can, so I don’t have to divide my time much.” You tell her. “How are Olivia and Lilian doing?”
Jessica smiles brightly. “They’re doing great. Olivia is… kind of a new woman. She still remembers your words clear as day. She said it herself, she wants to stop wasting her days on hating other people. She’s taking her studies more seriously and is having me teach her Portuguese and Spanish. She’s picking it up surprisingly quickly. She says she might take up her dad’s offer to take over their business after college. Lillian, like always, is following along. She started working more closely with her mom. Oh, her mom owns a cosmetics store. They’re pretty big.”
You smile at that. That’s nice to hear. “And you?”
“I… I’ve been…” You see her cheeks start reddening. “I’ve been auditioning for a few local plays.”
Oh?
“I don’t have that many skills, but I’ve always had a knack for acting… as you’re well aware.” She grimaces as she says so. “I’ve been thinking of taking theatre in college.”
“Have you now? That’s amazing.” You chuckle. “Well, I can say your performances are very convincing.” You give her a reassuring smile. “Tell me if you get a part. I want to watch.”
She nods happily. “I will.”
On another day you get together with Emily, Megan, Sophia and Katherine after school. All a part of Sophia’s plan to get Katherine more used to your group and get her out of her shell in the process.
You head for the shopping mall with the girls, where you’re basically dragged around from store to store. It’s more of the girls shopping and you just tagging along. You have to admit, not the most fun. But hey, they’re enjoying themselves.
Katherine is mostly silent though, like she’s afraid to speak. She keeps her answers short, which makes things difficult. Thankfully, your girls are nothing if not persistent.
“So Katherine, where would you like to go next?” Emily asks her as you all walk around.
“A-Any where’s fine.” The redhead answers.
“Come on, there’s got to be somewhere you want to go.” Megan says. “We already went to the sports shop and to the shoes store, much to David’s dismay.” She chuckles, looking at you.
“I’m just saying, you made the clerk bring you three different pairs of shoes in 4 different sizes and in the end didn’t even buy anything. I feel bad for the guy.” You tell them.
“Well, they were expensive!” Sophia argues.
“They were so cute though!” Megan groans.
“Katherine, you better hurry up and pick or we’re taking you to pick out bras.” Emily tells her.
Katherine stares at her blankly for a moment. The she turns to you, blinking several times before her face gets red as a tomato.
“L-Let’s go to the bookstore!” She hastily replies.
“Okay. The bookstore it is!” Emily says and leads the way, the four of you following her.
You have to admit, a part of you is a little disappointed you’re not going to the lingerie store with them, but that might have just been Emily’s bluff.
At the bookstore, you all go your separate ways at first, going to the sections you’re most interested in. Sophia heads straight to the romance section and you lose Emily, Megan and Katherine behind some other bookshelves as you head to the fantasy section.
Soon, Sophia finds you and starts browsing through the fantasy books as she makes conversation with you.
“What do you think? Is it working?” She asks.
“Hard to say. Still, I think you girls are doing great at making her feel involved.”
“I’d say she’s making an effort.” Sophia nods, the chuckles. “Emily’s leading her no problem though.”
You start looking for the other three, and you find them in the sci-fi section, with Megan and Emily… mostly just looking at the covers with puzzled expressions while Katherine reads the back cover of something that piqued her interest.
You walk up to them, and just for the hell of it, you greet them in your best impression of a certain British actor. “Hello there.”
You’re a bit startled when Katherine looks up from her book to you and immediately answers “General Kenobi!” in an earnest but sadly unsuccessful attempt at a cyborg’s voice.
There’s a sudden silence, but soon the only sound is Sophia trying to hold her laughter. You don’t know what the others are thinking, but on your part, this is just what makes you sure that you want to date this girl. However, you see her face reddening again in embarrassment as she realizes what she just said.
Before she can hide her face though, you raise your hand, prompting a high five from Katherine. She’s a bit hesitant but smiles shyly and high-fives you.
“What just happened? What did I miss?” Emily asks, completely loss.
“Nothing. They’re just being huge nerds.” Sophia grins.
“A nerd I am, yes.” You nod to yourself.
You see Katherine smiling though. She seems relieved that none of you are making fun of her.
“Now, I see these books might not be up your alley. Let me take you to a place you might find more to your liking.” Sophia says, pointing to the magazine rack.
“Hey! I’m not stupid! I can read!” Emily says, taking offence at than and crossing her arms.
“Be angry if you want, Em. I’m going there because I think I see pictures of cupcakes.” Megan says, not sparing a look to her friend as she walks with Sophia.
The blonde just sighs and gives up, admitting to herself that she’s not really interested in these books and leaves you alone with Katherine for a while.
“Sorry. Are they too difficult to keep up with?” You ask Katherine, giving her wry smile.
“A lot.” She mirrors your expression. “They’re just so… intense.”
You nod in agreement. “They are, aren’t they? But that just makes them the perfect foil to people like us.” You tell her.
“What do you mean?”
“Sorry, I guess I don’t know you that well, so let me speak for myself here. I’ve always been very quiet, keeping to myself and to a few friends. Being with them has helped me be a bit more outgoing and be more confident in myself.”
Katherine looks at you with an incredulous expression, as if you’re messing with her. You just laugh it off.
“What? Hard to believe? I used to be really awkward around people. Now not so much but some of it is still there.” You chuckle. “Still, we don’t want to push you to do things you don’t want to, so you better speak your mind if you don’t want to get caught up in their pace.”
Soon after, you leave the bookstore. And since it’s Emily’s turn to pick…
“Okay. Much as I hate to do this, we’re gonna have to part ways for a bit, David.” She tells you.
You give her a puzzled look.
“We’re going to the lingerie store. Megan and I actually went up a cup!” Both girls thrust their chests forward proudly.
“Then I…”
“Nope. You’re coming with us!” Sophia grins as she interrupts Katherine and drags her with them.
The redhead shoots you a pleading look, asking for a rescue, but your mind is too busy to notice that.
And you thought it was only your imagination that their tits were getting bigger! Hurray!
Next is another matter. Not urgent, but very significative.
After talking to the girls on the rooftop the other day, you went to a certain place and got something ready for all of them. A small, very important gift. You put the 5 small pieces of metal inside tiny velvet pouches and tie them close with golden-looking threads.
You manage to get the group together after school. Emma and Mia say that they finally have time for things like this now that most of their work is done. Emma does complain that she doesn’t feel like lazing around in bed anymore, for which Mia admonishes her telling her that’s a good thing.
“I bet this is the first time since you started working that you have work done in advance.” Mia tells Emma with narrowed eyes.
“You are a mean woman, making bets against your old friend. We’ve been through so much, Mia! How can you say that about me!?” Emma replies, offended. “But yes, it’s the first time.” Then nods, her disbelief gone in a second.
The rest of you laugh at their exchange. Emma is unapologetically lazy, yet extremely responsible at the same time. She will never miss a deadline, but will always push everything to the last minute.
Everyone is scattered around the room, sitting wherever they can, which is mostly the mattress on the floor.
“So, what was so important that you summoned us all at the same time?” Sophia asks, chuckling at her own choice of words before an idea gets in her head and she looks at you in surprise. “You’re don’t have an orgy in mind, do you? I already told my parents I’d be home by 10 at most.”
Everyone raises an eyebrow and looks at you with curiosity.
“Hey, I know you’re all busy! I wouldn’t ask you to come here out of the blue for that.” You tell them.
“I still think we should have another one.” Emma nods to herself. “Everyone free next weekend?”
“Wait. ‘Another one’?” Mia asks, quickly shaking her head at the surprise. “Please clarify. When you say orgy…”
“Just us.” Megan tells her casually. “We did it last Thursday and it was great!”
“Since it was a weekday though, we had to keep it short.” Emily says. “Only one round each.”
“I-I see.” Mia says with clear relief on her face. “For a minute I thought…”
“The day I let another man touch any of you is the day I wasn’t there to knee him in the nose before he dared.” You state.
“Wow. This is the first time I’ve seen you being so firm about that.” Megan says.
“It’s… been on my mind for some time. Sorry.” You tell them. “If you want to have a conversation about that, I don’t mind but it’s not why I asked you to come today.” You walk to your desk and get a paper bag from it.
“I wanted to give you something and it didn’t feel right to do it at different times.” You tell them as you hand every one of them one of the velvet pouches. Once everyone has one, you ask them to open them.
“No fucking way…!” Emily mutters.
“Oh my God!” Megan says with teary eyes and a big smile.
“You didn’t- Oh my God, you did!” Emma’s smile widens when she takes out a key from her pouch.
“W-Wait! You’re giving me one, too!?” Sophia asks, perplexed as she holds an identical key. “We’ve been together for less than a week!”
“She’s right! We-”
“Don’t deserve it?” You ask with a frown, completing Mia’s sentence. “Well, I think you do. That’s why I’m giving you all a key to this place. Use it if you want. If not, just don’t throw it away or I’ll have problems sleeping at night.” You tell them with a nervous smile.
“Are you sure about this, love?” Emma asks you, unable to contain her smile.
“I have nothing to hide from any of you. Nothing at all. Hell, Emma, you’ve even seen my porn collection already!”
“Oh yeah!” She laughs, remembering that happened.
“What if you’re with someone inside and one or some of us walk in?” Megan asks.
“I don’t mind.” You shrug.
“What if you’re having sex?” Sophia adds to that question.
“It would most likely be with one of you, right? And you’ve seen that already.”
“What if it’s a new girl?” Megan asks again.
“Well, we would’ve approved of her before, right?” Emily says. “If he wants privacy, he can do that tie-on-the-doorknob thing.”
“By the way, I’m giving you this so you can also use the place if you want.” You tell them, eyeing Emily and Megan in particular.
“Y-You mean we can…” Megan asks, her eyes widening in realization.
“Yep.” You nod. “What you said the other day about not having a place to be together got me thinking. I don’t mind if you do it here.”
“Oh my God!” Megan rushes towards you jumps at you, hugging you tightly. “I love you so much!”
“You’re crazy!” Emily laughs, hugging you from behind. “Thanks though. I promise we won’t overuse it.”
“So we not only have to worry about catching David in the act, but them as well?” Mia chuckles. “This really is just a sex den.” So she says, but you can see the elation in her eyes as she looks at the key.
“Anyway, I think this is great!” Emma says. “Thank you for trusting us, love.”
“With my life.” You tell her. “And my privacy.”
That last one makes everyone laugh.
