Getting back home.

You might just have forgotten where you came from when you finally got out of the sanctuary, the sun starting to set the horizon ablaze, turning the dark sky purple, and making you admire the beauty of this moment for a little while.

To you, there was no feeling such as this one, the silple feeling of getting to watch the sun rise between the trees, night turning into day with each passing second. As you watched the sunrise, you stopped using your magic, making the primal energy disappear, stored deep within you.

Despite the beauty of the moment though, your mind wandered back to your home, where the girls would be very scared if they find out that you disappeared overnight before you were able to come back. With this in mind, you got going, walking in the direction that you thought would be the way home.

Turns out it wasn't the way home, and after walking for almost thirty minutes, following a path you found in the mean time, you were pretty sure of this. Lucky you, a soft and familiar voice rose in your back.

"What do we have here ?" Asked playfully Shirayuki, making you turn around. "Hello there, you seem lost, which is a touch funny to me, seeing that you managed to lose yourself while following a path."

As she giggled, you shook your head, sighing deeply, before eventually answering by asking a simple question.

"Can you help me get back to my home ?"

"I can for sure, Adam." Shirayuki replied. "But tell me, why aren't you sleeping right now ? You should be, if you want to be able to take care of the girls."

She then started walking, in the complete opposite direction of the one you originally took, expecting your answer as you followed her. Her tails were slowly wagging under the slight breeze that traversed the forest, and you couldn't help but admire the grace that she was showing seemingly unvoluntarily. It was as if she always behaved like this, which may be true now that you think about it.

Yet, this wasn't the subject, and when you caught up to Shirayuki, you explained what happened.

"So, you see." You simply started. "I was woken up by two sparks, which talked to me and led me to a ruined sanctuary of some sorts. There, I understood, or at least I think I understood, that the sparks were connected to a goddess of some kind, and she offered me what my ability refers to as Primal Magic, but I don't really think I understood well enough what that was."

"Primal Magic ? It may be one of the strongest kinds of magics." Thoughtfully said Shirayuki. "I know that it is not that common too, but still not as rare as magics related to the void, space or time. Yet it is the most versatile kind of magic, since it allows its user to do whatever they want with the primal element they have access to."

She stopped speaking, glancing over at you to make sure that you understood well, one of her ears perked up and almost facing you, to make sure that you did not have any questions, before she continued.

"Primal Magic is the strongest kind of elemental magic. You have seen two people use it so far : Lady Kogai, with her Primal Fire, and Permafrost, who uses a kind of Primal Ice, even though it is not the kind that one would usually use."

This brought a question to your mind, as you were able to see the manor not that far away from you. The trees did a really good job at hiding it, or so it seems.

"If Permafrost doesn't use the same kind of Primal Ice as usual, then what does he uses ?" You ask.

"One may call it his lifeforce. Permafrost was originally the master of the Ice Elementals, ruling over them with no opposition. Some events that it is best for you not to know made it so that he lost his original form, and he joined the Chaos Legion soon after, right after the God of Chaos almost erased him."
