Getting Caught By Kara

You did your best to stall your turn with Kara and grabbed a drink, then a snack. Finishing it slowly you took your time going up the steps, one at a time. This time however you lead into the dark hallway. Your heartbeat thumps loudly in your chest begging to flee the situation as Kara follows behind you up the stairs.

A crack of thunder roars nearby as the clouds rumble above.

You make it up the steps without getting stabbed in the back. Goosebumps crawl across your body, instinctively alerted. You walk a good amount of steps away from Kara into the hall before spinning around to look at her.

Kara is looking off to the side with a slight smirk before turning to make eye contact with you. You gulp again. The light from downstairs drape over the edge of her figure with a soft light, her front is shadowed obscuring her features.

"...."

You break eye contact and cough into a fist, an excuse to look away. "Ahem-....sorry uhh...."

"Hah~ you're so stiff around me." Kara says narrowing her eyes with a smirk.

"....Sorry." You apologize, eyes trailing to the wall next to her....the spot you and Amelia mingled.

"Did you have fun?"

Your heart skips a beat at the question and flick your eyes back onto Kara.

"Huh? No- I mean- Yea, Yeah of course. I'm having lots of fun. This is a fun game."

You stumble through the sentence realizing she didn't mean Amelia and you. Kara chuckles lightly at you again.

"That's good to hear...." Her eyes drift over the wall you were staring at. "Does it smell funny here or is it just me?" Kara says as she sniffs the air and lifts the back of her hand to touch her nose.

You gulp again....harder.

"M-Maybe....must be the bathroom. I think Amelia put on something that smelled weird."

You say in an attempt to give Kara an answer.

"Is....that so?" She says turning to look at the bathroom door.

"...."

A silence befalls the room as the two of you stand there. You're frozen in place as Kara hums a quiet tune and reaches into her pocket for something.

"Ah- Jun~....I do have something for you. Here-"

Kara points two fingers towards you and inbetween them is....something. You try to focus with the odd lighting and take a step closer to see what it is....Your eyes widen and your lips press together nervously. A state of silent panic and confusion comes over you. Held in-between Kara's fingers like a business card is a single condom packet.

"W-What is-"

Kara lifts one brow and smirks wider while maintaining her reserved demeanor.

"Oh no, do you not know what this is, Jun?" Kara surely teases you and tilts her head the other direction as if to observe you carefully.

"I- Yeah I do but why-" You're cut off again.

"Because you bought them silly." Kara's voice sends a chill through you.

You practically turn to stone at the realization. You forgot the fucking condoms in the bags, the ones you asked Sarah to get for you.

Kara must've found them....well you HOPE she did. Damage control with your mother and maybe even your sister is going to be impossible. Your soul facepalms through your head creating a hole in your confidence if you had any left by this point.

"I-...." There's no point lying. "....Yeah I did. Sorry I sorta forgot them in the....bag."

"Hrmm....No worries. It was just a surprise, I just wanted to know where it came from. Is it your first time buying them?"

"N-No....well....kinda?"

You say as this was your first time buying condoms but counting your previous life, it isn't. That and you technically didn't buy them as Sarah did.

"Well in any case, here you go."

Kara says gesturing it towards you and you take the bait. Your hand moves forward and pinched the packet. However, the packet slips away as Kara holds it tight not allowing you to take it.

You look up at her with confusion.

"But first-....you have to use it responsibly. Got it?"

You're completely under her hold as you nod and answer, "Yeah....Got it."

Kara smirks and lightly tosses it at you. You lift both of your hands to catch it out of the air.

"It's not really my business, but treat her well."

You pocket the condom before answering her.

"Of course...."

At this point she is probably thinking that what your mother said was true, that you were trying to get it on with Sarah after bringing her home. But in actuality it's for Amelia, her own daughter. This gave you a sense of superiority over Kara, knowing something she doesn’t.

"So....where are the rest?" You ask mustering up the courage.

"Ah, the other packets? Well, boy, you don't need that many do you?" Kara says and puts her hands into her pockets.

You recoil hearing this. Was this a slight at you? Eitherway her tone irks you in wanting to prove her wrong.

"As a mother-figure, I'm going to make sure my children are being safe. Exercise caution and a bit of discipline first alright? Don't be hasty....and when you need more just ask."

Kara speaks with honey filled words and a tone that drips of motherly persuasion. You realize the manipulation within those words, the control she is trying to establish like how she does to Amelia, but you agree quickly nonetheless.

"Sure....I'll keep that in mind."

"Alright! We're done!!!"

Ameko finally shouts from downstairs signaling the end of your time with Kara.

As you walk down the stairs and back into the light you sigh....you consider the condoms a lost. There is no way you're going to just willingly walk into Kara's web and go begging for the condoms....you'll simply just get new ones.

You and Kara sit at opposite ends of the couch and stare at the others. Kara immediately fire off two shots, guessing that your mother shifted her apron to the side and Amelia had put on lip gloss. Both answers unsurprisingly were correct and you just sunk into your seat.

Just like that the round is over. The score is tied at 5-5.
