As you button the final button on your shirt, you notice that the clothing you casually discarded the night before is gone.

Anna must have taken my clothes down to laundry. You think idly.

With a shrug, you move to the door, opening it to the hallway beyond. The hallway is dark, with just the first hints of the morning sun lighting its length.

The door closes behind you with a soft click, then you pause, listening for a moment. You can hear sound elsewhere in the house, faint enough that you can't hear any of what is being said, though you can hear occasional laughter mixed in.

The girls sound happy this morning.

You begin to walk down the hallway, taking in the sights of the mansion around you. My mansion.

When you reach the landing in the main hall, you consider where you should head. I suspect the girls will have breakfast ready soon. Maybe I should head there? Or maybe this would be a good time to explore the house further instead?
