Get caught off Guard

Larry was so caught up in how he could use the Ray he didn’t notice someone walk up to him. “Hey what you got there?” A female voice asked from behind him.

Larry jumped in pure surprise. Not expecting someone to sneak up on him like that. What is he to do or say? He can’t tell whoever it is what this especially not a girl. They would most certainly trash it.
