Get Out of the Hangar

In the infection form’s current state and position, trying to find a potential host would be an extremely risky idea at best and a suicidal one at worst. With so much activity going on around it there was no way it could find a suitable host and not raise any alarms. That's even if it can find one without being caught and killed. Its best course of action would be to get out of the hangar and use stealth and the element of surprise to its advantage to gather more information about potential hosts and areas of interest. If it can begin the process of infesting High Charity with a lower risk of discovery then the chances of taking over the Covenant’s holy city would be much higher. With that, the infection form spots an open vent a little ways away. Only a short dash would be needed to reach it without anyone noticing. A few moments pass of the parasite observing its surroundings, making sure that no one is around or observing the infection form’s hiding place or the vent. It makes its move, and quickly scampers to the vent and gets inside. The space isn't very large, but is enough for the infection form to move freely. Travelling the ventilation shafts, it leaves the crowded hangar space and moves further into the station.
