Get Mona to talk her into moving along

You cough at Leeloo's hearty back-slap. Gal was a brawler, and didn't know her own strength. You grin at her. "Don't think I can top that one tonight," you say. "Not behind a microphone anyway."

Mona's redheaded gal pal laughs.

"I'm gonna hit the head and take a breather," you tell Leeloo and Mona. You lean toward Mona and whisper, "Talk me up if you want to watch."

The men's room at The Man Friday is a little Robinson Crusoe meets Pirates of the Caribbean for decor. There are vending machines for combs, cologne, and condoms, lubed and unlubed. Unlubed for oral, check. You raise your eyebrows at a little brown bottle with the Man Friday logo that you're sure must be poppers. Leeloo wheedles a stop by a drive-through and offers to treat you all again. You're not going to fight her on that, or mostly anything. Not after her friend origin story with Mona was "met in jail after brawling in the parking lot".

After dinner around Mona's kitchen table -- heck, yours too, you gave up your own place when you made your baby daddy agreement --- after dinner and lots of giggling and significant glances, Mona kicks things forward.

"Leeloo didn't believe the broken condom story," she says. "Show her, Joe."
