Get Caffeinated!

Were there other, fancier, more popular coffee shops in the city? Yeah. Probably with better coffee, too. Fancy techniques and orders that she couldn't pronounce. But Carly found something comforting about the local shop! Independently owned, a far cozier vibe than the likes of Starbucks.

Or rather... It USUALLY had a cozy vibe.

"Morning!" Carly beamed as she approached the counter, and the cute barista with curly brown hair. Jazz, according to her name tag. "Can I just get a vanilla--"

"EXCUSE ME!"

A downright unpleasant shout disrupted the previously pleasant vibes of the coffee shop! A woman that could only be described as a "Karen" stomped her way forward; Mid-30s, designer clothes, short blonde hair. Both Carly and Jazz seemed shocked by the outburst!

"There's no WAY you made this drink right!"

"I mean-- Your order was so complicated, I could barely remember half of it, so... Probably." Jazz laughed. As did Carly.

At that same moment, one of the staff members was cleaning the floors-- Headphones in, dazed look on his face. Oblivious to the world. The handle of his mop was moments away from hooking into the strap of Carly's dress...

"Hey!" The Karen shouted-- Pushing Carly aside to get in the barista's face. "I saw this order on Tiktok, and I expect you to--"

In that moment, mercifully, the handle caught in the Karen's top! The cleaner, still blissfully unaware, turned on his heels-- Yanking the obnoxious woman back! Her top suddenly rose up over her pale breasts! Karen panicked, slipped on the floor...

And fell right out of her shirt. She sat on the floor, chest exposed, looking positively bewildered.

"...Oops. My bad, bro." The cleaner muttered. He offered the top-- Now notably stretched out-- And the Karen was quick to snatch it and flee while trying to cover herself.

"...Wow. That's karma for you." Carly chuckled, reapproaching the counter... And stepping carefully on the wet floor.
