Chapter 62 by Speci@lty Speci@lty

Who do I run into?

George

"Whoa, Ahab!" A quick slap on the butt grabbed my attention. I whirled around to see who called my name.

"George!" George was a young athletic girl at 18 years old and a dark complexion. I would see her around my neighborhood many times while she skateboarded waving me a hello. "W-What are you doing here?" I held my carboard sign tightly before me hoping no one would snatch it again.

"I'm working at the parade as part time staff for some extra cash. Plus, it's a lot of fun here helping with the parade floats." She eyed me up and down as if she could whisk away my sign with a glance. "Care to tell me what you're doing here in such a sexy 'outfit'?"

I blushed at her question, "It's a long story George, but I promise you I didn't mean to end up this way on purpose." I rubbed my butt-cheek then, it still felt the sting from her slap "You didn't have hit my butt so hard."

"Sorry Ahab, couldn't help it. You go walking around 'advertising' like that somebody is bound to make a move."

I lowered my head sullenly and George reached up on her tiptoes to ruffle my hair. "It's been great seeing you George but obviously, I need to get to my work place, or my apartment, or at least find some pants." I gave her a woeful smile.

"Well if you’re looking for clothes buddy, I might be able to help." Finally, some good news.

"Really?!" I asked.

"Sure thing. Just follow me and I will help you out." Finally some good news.

I followed George gleefully at the promise of some clothes. At this point, I would be fine with anything so long as it was more than just a cardboard sign.

Where does George take me?
