Ten days had passed since Syd's awakening as a flower monster and the former human had passed that time in constant pursuit of self-improvement.

His daily routine was something along the lines of: Starting the day by inspecting himself and the dungeon, allocating "funds" as needed, if a new variant of monster had emerged from among the minions, study it, if not proceed to use that time to brew potions.

After that was done he would get some dungeon monsters to attack him, their attacks would continue until all selected monsters were defeated. He would then enter a "meditative" state until he recovered from the battle then he would precede to put himself in an intense situation or use his magic to attack himself and enter a meditative state when he got to hurt resuming the training once he was back at full health this cycle would continue until night came. During the night he would experiment with his human polymorph ability trying to optimize the transformation process to and from human while also performing various exercises to get accustomed to moving in his alternative form, this would continue until late at night when he would fall into another meditative state (plants apparently don't need to "sleep") until morning.

This regiment hadn't been as successful as he had hoped, he had gained a more in-depth understanding of how levels, XP, and power scaling worked in this world and he was able to unlock a small number and gain classes than what wasn't initially available, but the powerful abilities the two goddesses had loaded into his brain were still out of his grasp. Then again that might have been a good thing after all it meant such abilities were actually special, and not everyone could just get them with a little bit of training, it also made Syd crave them even more... still, despite his drive to grow stronger, he made an effort to conserve his XP since he had noticed he was getting less XP slaying enemies the more powerful he became... That said a recent development could mean that his strategy would have to change... Humans had invaded his dungeon.
