What is your original body up to?
Gaming the system to get stronger
"Father, is this really going to do anything?" Halria asks, hugging herself for warmth as the rest of your daughters' teeth chatter in the snow. Though their Verdure heritage makes them that much more susceptible to the ice, they are kept relatively comfortable and healthy due to you dousing them with an unending mist of healing potions and anesthetics that leave them numbed by the constant chills. At the same time, you're having your monster cores either kill your minions or have them battle one another, the mindless slaves sending blows that you easily block with minimal damage. It seems counterproductive, but you know this will bear fruit.
"Only a few more seconds, then you'll never feel cold again." You reassure as you watch your daughters simultaneous stop shivering, their faces puzzled as they walk barefoot into the snow and hold it. It seemed they finally got the ice elemental infusion. At the same time, you get a surge in power, gaining knowledge into stealth skills. It seems you finally took killed enough minions to gain the assassin skill trees. With this, you've successfully grinded your way into every monster power and all but two classes you could attain as an immobile sentient jungle.
You're confused as to why you don't have the knight class despite taking blows for your minions, but you aren't too concerned about your classses. Right now, you should focus on raising your base level, letting your daughters get stronger, and to level your classes. Based on your understanding, leveling classes was based on similar criteria as attaining them.
Assassins had a direct kill count that raised based on kills, sorcerers leveled based on potion production or magic use, priests levelled based on health restored or undead raised/killed, and rangers levelled based on understanding of either the land or its inhabitants. Since you had 6 monster cores that could complete 6 actions, you decide to have each core specialize in a different class. The remaining two cores would serve as supervisors to help Halria and her sisters level on their own without fear of ****. Sadly, the girls will always be behind humans or monsters due to their heritage.
Their status as creatures of the dark side mean that the only class they could get was the ranger class inherited from their mothers. Furthermore, their humanoid form meant that they would not benefit as greatly from their Verdure regeneration as you. On the bright side, they had a number of benefits you lacked. For one, they could blend in with society with ease, gained experience faster, and could survive beheading, getting their hearts ripped out, and even dismemberment since their bodies had decentralized vitals. They were also capable of moving with elven grace and agility, giving them a far greater affinity to nature than even their mother species.
With that in mind, you spend your time capturing the local monsters and either having your daughters kill them to train, using the monsters to try grinding into a knight class and healing whatever injuries you could with your priest class. Eventually, you level up to the strength of the local monsters. Your regeneration is now beyond anything this world has seen, but you can't level up any further using the local monsters.
As you mull over just how to work around this setback, you sense movement at the furthest reaches of your body. Since you had abandoned two monster cores to deal with Citranas, your body is significantly smaller than its peak, forcing you to redistribute your biomass. Instead of growing outwards in a perfect circle like earlier, you redistribute your body to form a straight line towards the canyon leading to your mountain, taking care to make a few turns to make sure nobody knew where your true body was hidden. Focusing your senses on the furthest reaches of your body, you spot...
