Game 1 - Hot Potato

The competitors were brought into a small room with a pink ball laying in the center of a circle with six dots equally spaced out on the circle

Naomi stood next to the ball in her purple gown, “Welcome all!” She beamed. “Today you will be playing the classic game of hot potato. The rules are simple pass the ball to another contestant. However, you cannot leave the spot you are assigned. You must always have 1 foot on the dot. If you catch the ball, you are safe. If you fail to catch the ball, or drop it, you will be eliminated. Music will begin to play and when it stops, whoever is left holding the ball will be eliminated. Whoever has the most successful passes will be considered the winner. Is that understood?”

The group of players nodded. The guards ushered them to their spaces.

Naomi handed the ball to Chris, “You will have the honor of being the first to toss.”

Chris nodded and the music started, the ball was heavier than he expected. He tossed it to Alice next to him, and she passed it to Tyson. After a minute the ball had been passed to everyone.
