Gabie is not backing down!

After the whole fiasco with his client, John thought about what will be his strategy against Gabie as he literally has no bargaining chip in this case. But heavy hearted, he went to Gabie who was waiting outside and John asked, "Can we move somewhere else? I am ready to negotiate."

Gabie looked at John and gave him a smirk and said, "What is there to negotiate? You will take your case back and issue a public apology to my client and we will not release what that idiot said over there."

This means that there is only audio evidence with Gabie and not video which allows John to at least have a chance in this negotiation. John then started, "Mrs. Gabie, you know that what you did was illegal in this state. You cannot record other person without his permission in this state. I will have the court throw it out."

John looked deep inside Gabie's eyes and there was no fear, only determination. She asked, "If you are so confident in your gambit, why did you come for negotiating?"

She saw through it. The client was drunk and he doesn't even remember half the things he said, his testimony will not hold in court and again, looking at her confidence, John thought she already has the confession from his client that he is doing this case only for money and not his damages.

"Ok Ok, you got me." John said but then added, "We will drop the case, but you need to promise that you will dispose this tape and we will call this case settled."

Gabie took a moment to think but then John added, "You and I both know Mrs. Gabie that there is not much of a case from your client's side. Consider it a win." but then Gabie smiled and told John, "We can but where's the fun in that? Because my client has suffered some reputation damage in this case, we will say this case is settled for 1k from your client."

What an evil bitch. She knows they are in the wrong but she is not backing down and then John and Gabie discussed it for some more time but Gabie did not back down. Court was about to start in 4 minutes and I went to my client and told him about the deal.

"That's absurd" he said while almost tears in his eyes and I told him, "I will strongly suggest to not take the deal if it was not for your wife. We can win this case, trust me."

However then he said a thing which will change the course of my relationship with Gabie, "Mr. John, you cannot win against that woman. I cannot imagine her losing in anything." This made him stop and it frankly pissed John off.

"If you think that, then there is no case here. Take the deal." John suggested him, he knew whatever he said, if the client did not believe in him, then there is no interest from his side either to sully his official record.

And that's how John suffered his biggest loss against Gabie.
