Disaster after case!

After John and his client basically threw the case away, which for the record made John still extremely mad, the winning conditions were set by Gabie they receive:

1. A public apology from my client
2. 1000 dollars from my client, which in John's view was only the insurance company punishing the people who will think about coming after them in future.

And the client's video will not be released onto the internet or played in court. This was extremely unfavourable to John's client but there is nothing that could be done now. After all the paperwork finished which did not took that long, John met Gabie outside and approached her.

"Oh my my, what brings you here, Mr. John?" Gabie teased John and as John was already pissed off, he commented, "Are you really happy winning like a whore?" The comment was rude and insensitive but at that particular moment John's mind was not focused on these things.

However while Gabie should have been angry about the harshness of these words, she just chuckled and said. "Mr. John that is not a good look on you. I will let you try it one more time." and she waited for John to apologize but the apology never materialized.

"The way you won, if Bar (the law organisation) came to know about it, your career is done." John threatened Gabie but again Gabie looked him dead in his eyes and said, "Try me! But before that excuse me here."

And I saw Gabie going towards my client and his wife.

My wife and me were bickering about why I would accept such an unfavourable deal and to be honest, this was not even bickering more so but my wife absolutely decimating me. A few minutes later, I saw John and that bitch, Gabie, talking and it dawned on me, how much I screwed John's first case.

After a while, I saw Gabie approaching us and the presence of this woman is just intimidating for me. I asked my wife, "Honey, let's go."

She stopped berating me for a minute and dished out, "Are you serious? Why the hell are you so pathetic?" as she saw Gabie approaching me. After Gabie reached us, she said, "Hello, are you his wife?" pointing at me.

"I am not liking your tone very much." my wife told Gabie that and Mrs. Gabie just gave her a smile and said, "Don't worry miss, you will not like what I have to give to you either."

The fuck was she talking about and then she pulled out a pendrive. You got to be kidding me. I stared towards John and he was as shocked as I was.

"You would like what is in it. Maybe this man is not the most appropriate for you." And Gabie handed the pendrive to my wife. My wife asked, "What is in it?" to me and I did not have any correct excuse or answer to this question.

John saw the whole scene from afar and he understood what happened. In the conditions it was never mentioned that she can't do that. It was only for the court plus the internet.

John felt stupid. He definitely had not considered it and it was something that cemented his loss. There was only shame, humiliation and sense of worthlessness that was left inside John. While his official record was not hurt, his pride certainly was.
