The Bar Council

So yesterday, John had an extremely bad day, no two doubts about it. However, as he knows that Gabie pulled some shady stuff to get the win yesterday (plus his incompetence in the contract), he thought it was the perfect time to report it to the bar council and get that bitch out of there.

So he drafted a strong worded email and sent it to the council president herself who he knew from back in the college. A few days later he got an official response from the bar council president that they should meet for lunch and he should present the evidence again Gabie. This was extremely strange for John because there should be a proper hearing for this big of an offense but this was good enough.

So he went to Gabriel's house to get the pendrive which after a day or two he realised was not a bane but a boon. He does not even need the idiot to get witness testimony form that idiot to get Gabie disbarred.

However, when he went to Gabriel's house, he was invited in, begrudgingly sure, but still he was invited in. "Will you take some tea, Mr. John?" he asked John and John replied, "Sure, I would love to."

Then while the client of his was making the tea, John asked him, "So what happened with your wife?" and his client was in the middle of putting tea bags in the cups and he stopped. He faced John and there was a tear in his eye. John got his answer and he said, "If it's too painful, please don't worry about it."

The client calmed himself down. He removed the tear and poured the boiling water into the cups. It will be a long time since John will have a tea, he was a big coffee guy in fact. After handing John his cup, Gabriel asked him again, "So Mr. John, how can I be of service to you?"

John took a sip and tensed his expression and explained to his client that he will get Gabie disbarred because what she did was unethical and straight up wrong. His client heard him patiently and after a while he said, "Mr. John, you remember what I told you when you suggested fighting Mrs. Gabie in the court?"

John recalled but then assured his client, "Sir, I know what your feelings are on this matter but I am not asking you to participate in this in any way shape or form. Gabie handed you the pendrive right? I just want that pendrive."

Then the client stood him from his sofa and went upstairs to look for something. John was sitting in the living room and he was surprised that his client, who was for the record pretty well off. Not rich by any shot but happy and satisfied but now he has lost everything because of the bitch that is, Gabie. It is wrong and John will make it right. He will make sure Gabie pays for messing his life and case.

After around 5 minutes, the client came downstairs and he had the pendrive in his hands, John stood up and the Gabriel handed him the pendrive. But before he sends John to his crazy adventure, he advised, "Mr. John, I seriously think that you or any lawyer for that matter is no match for that woman but if you can make her pay, I would be sincerely thankful to you."

Whatever this idiot says is of no concern to John, the only thing that mattered was the pen drive. John had that thing now. He was sure that he can bring Gabie down and make sure she does not practise any case ever again but John did not knew that while Gabie was obviously a big deal, she will become his worst nightmare in the coming days.
