Fuu finds Emmaline, but something is wrong

"Lady Teoming!" Emmaline said, appearing seemingly out of nowhere to interrupt Fuu's conversation with the two men, looking very excited. Emmaline turned to the two men, addressing them for the first time, "I apologize, gentlemen, but I need to steal her for a minute--promise to bring her back in one piece!"

Fuu apologized as well before following the beckoning Emmaline away from them. Emmaline lead her just outside the main hall before she began speaking quietly. "Fuu! I found something! I'm not entirely sure if its the... you know-- what we're after-- but I think it might be! It's down in the storage rooms, but I think they might move it soon, we have to move quickly!"

Fuu nodded, but kept her face a mask. The instant they had left the crowded ballroom, she knew something was off. While the woman before her looked, behaved, and sounded exactly like Emmaline, Fuu knew an illusion when she saw one. This one seemed to be incredibly well crafted, but a practicioner of the holy arts like Fuu had ways of seeing around such things.

An illusion, however perfect, is still an illusion. It was a combination of factors that had alerted Fuu, each of them subtle, likely things that would have been missed even by the other Bravos. Her close knowledge of her friend's appearance and mannerisms had been one factor, though of course the illusion's maker had done an excellent job mimicking both. Her natural eye was almost able to detect that something was off as well. Though what really keyed her in was Fuu's attunement to the supernatural. An illusion lacks a soul, after all. It sends out no ripples through the supernatural planes of existence, ripples that would have been missed by practically any being alive that wasn't explicitly trained in sensing them. Unfortunately for the whoever had conjured this thing, Fuu was one of the few people that was.
