Fuu and Kiera are attacked by reinforcements!

While Fuu and Kiera did their back and forth, dancing this way and that across the cavern, a new creature arrived upon the scene. He was a mage of ages past, a man who had become lost down here in the twisting and churning passages. His sanity had left him quickly enough, and as the time passed, he found that he was only able to survive by giving in to the will of the new home in which he found himself. His considerable power twisted at the beck and call of the Labyrinth, and before too long, he had become it's servant and master of this small domain.

He drifted forward, sticking to the shadows as he observed the duel between the two women. The drunken movements of the bulky armored one were easily thrown aside by her more nimble foe. As he watched more closely, he realized, that she hardly seemed conscious at all, and that with the nimble fighter out of the way, he could easily have the pair of them fully subdued.

His action, then was simple. The ancient mage stepped forward from the darkness, lifting his gloved hands and casting a powerful concussive spell, just as Fuu leapt from her stance.

The wave of energy caught Fuu from the side, slamming into both her and Kiera and tossing them across the room, throwing them against the far wall. Fuu let out a grunt of pain and shock from the impacts, but she was sturdy and quickly pulled herself back to her feet. Her body ached from the impact, but the leader of the Bravos was far from bested just yet.

Fuu looked up with wild eyes, a strand of hair running across her face. Her gaze settled on the mage, standing there across the room and her eyes narrowed.

"Is it you? Are you the one controlling her? Let her go!" Fuu snarled, launching herself across the space and finally drawing the wickedly bladed staff from her back.
