(Blanche POV)

Blanche couldn't help wishing Hanna good luck as she disappeared. The blue-haired girl may have been barely younger than her, but Blanche couldn't help seeing her as a kid who knew nothing about life.

"Do you think she'll be all right?" Blanche asked the next people.

"I don't know what she has planned. But it's clear that her self-confidence will help her get closer to Leo." Eric commented.

"She'll be fine. I've been coaching her all evening," said Abigail.

Daphne simply nodded.

"She's a geek going off with a geek to geek country. How bad could it get?" Jessica said.

Blanche nodded. Indeed, what could go wrong?

"If you're interested, I can tell you how yesterday went." Eric offered.

It was an interesting proposition. And it would give Eric a chance to talk.

"I've got nothing to do all day anyway." Jessica said.

Abigail, Daphne, and Blanche nodded as if to say they were in a similar situation. None of them was really used to having nothing to do all day.

"I took Leo to the moon."

Blanche thought she'd misunderstood.

"What??!!" shouted Jessica.

"On the Moon ..." Said Abigail.

"Indeed, on the Moon. I thought it would be hard to get more original." Said Eric.

That's original, Blanche thought.

"Then we had several serious discussions about what was going to happen and what we had to do." Said Eric.

So that was his goal. To have a serious discussion with them.

"First of all, we agreed. What you did, Daphne, was stupid and dangerous. Next time you have an idea like that let's discuss it first." Said Eric.

"Yes, I know. It was stupid. I realized that. I paid dearly for it." Says Daphne.

Blanche remembers how tearful Daphne was last night. The punishments she'd suffered were really severe.

"Then I tried to explain to him that we have to play with the rules rather than face them head-on." Said Eric.

"What do you mean by playing by the rules?" Blanche asked.

She already had an idea on the subject but wanted to hear the angel's answer.

"Let's start simply then. Nola announced that the person with the best date would be entitled to an additional theme of their choice. Have you given this any thought?" Eric asked.

Blanche wasn't sure how to answer. She hadn't thought about it at all. Seeing no response, Eric continued.

"Anyone? Just as I feared. So, let's start talking about it now. What would you like in the way of transformations?" Eric asked.

Blanche didn't even have time to think about the question when Daphne retorted.

"What do you mean? What kind of question is that? I refuse to undergo any more transformations." Said Daphne, struggling to hide her aggression.

"I find that hard to believe. But in any case, we must recognize that none of us will escape the transformations. As Nola explained, it's the very soul of this show. We're going to undergo transformations. I just hope we get appreciable transformations." Says Eric.

"There are no appreciable transformations!" said Daphne.

Blanche sighed inwardly. The counterargument was so easy to find.

"I'd be hard pressed to say I don't appreciate being thirty again," said Abigail.

Daphne grimaced. She knew she'd lost that argument.

"I know what you mean, but what do you have in mind as a transformation theme for yourself?" asked Blanche curiously.

"I've had several in mind, such as 'Knowledge', 'Science' or 'Discovery'. But I haven't made up my mind yet, " said Eric.

It really suited him, Blanche thought.

"But what a geek! There's more to life than school, you know?" Says Jessica.

"I imagine you've got better things in mind". Said Eric.

Blanche was surprised by the lack of sarcasm in Eric's reply, but figured she was in for a surprise with this family anyway.

"Of course, I do. I'm thinking of offering this leprechaun the themes 'Queen', 'Justice' and 'Girlfriend'" said Jessica, proud to have an answer.

Blanche wasn't sure which shocked her more. The three of them could easily go wrong.

"What do you mean 'girlfriend'?" Said Daphne.

"Why are you shocked? I'm his first love after all and to win this kind of transformation will help me greatly. But maybe you're jealous, right?" Says Jessica

"Me jealous and what not. No, I just think you're crazy for wanting to go out with Leo." Says Daphne.

Blanche thought this was going to turn out badly.

"Am I crazy? And you're just jealous and bitter so you're still a baby." Jessica said.

This was too much for Abigail who, from her experience as a mother of two daughters, separated Jessica and Daphne, who were not far from coming to blows.

"That's enough! Calm down, both of you! We're all responsible adults here. You put your egos aside." Said Abigail

This was a little too much for Jessica, who chose to leave, stamping her feet.

"And one down. Abigail, since you've spoken, do you have any ideas?" asked Blanche.

Abigail seemed to think for a few moments before answering.

"I'm not sure. I've already solved my main problem. Now that I'm young again, I'm not sure what I'd like to change." Abigail replied.

"Don't you have any regrets, dreams or goals?" Eric asked.

"I spent my youth working for big companies and earning a lot of money, but it's only recently that I've started helping others. I've seen misery on my many trips to Africa and I'd like to help. So my chosen theme would be 'Helping'." Says Abigail

"Let's try to find 2 others it will be convenient in case Nola refuses the first ones. Do you have anything else?" Says Eric

"I wonder how my daughters are doing. One is in England studying and the other is starting university and wants to work in horse riding. My husband doesn't matter, we haven't been getting along for years, but giving up my daughters will be difficult, so I'm going for 'Daughter' my second theme". Says Abigail.

"You're not even going to involve your daughters in this show!" Says Daphne scandalized.

"I know, but at the same time I refuse to lose my daughters. At the end of it all, will I still have a relationship with her? Will they still remember me, and will I still remember them?" Says Abigail.

"I understand, but that's no reason to put them through that." Daphne said.

Blanche tried to close the subject.

"And if not for the last theme, what do you have?" asked Blanche.

Abigail seemed to understand what Blanche was trying to do and replied.

"The last one is almost a joke. I've spent my life being late and having problems with time. I think a few transformations might solve that. So, I propose 'Time'." Says Abigail.

"And that's three. Now Blanche, do you have any ideas?" Eric asked.

Blanche knew it would soon be her turn, but she didn't have many more ideas now.

"Let's take it simply like with Abigail. Do you have any dreams, goals, regrets?" asked Eric.

Regrets, she had like everyone else. Goals were more complicated. She wanted to become a chef and follow in the footsteps of her mentor Leo's father. But accusations of harassment against her students had destroyed her chances of ever being entrusted with the position. Of course, the accusations were unfounded. She yelled at them, but it wasn't harassment. Anyway, could she still practice medicine with cat ears? Why had she embarked on this path in the first place?

"Do you want to do some medicine-related maybe," Daphne offered.

"No." replied Blanche, surprising herself with the sharpness of the answer.

But it was so right. She couldn't see herself going back to the hospital. She was done spending her days and nights helping others. Now she'd do what she wanted when she wanted. Like a cat. This transformation suited her particularly well. The problem was, she'd have to do something to live.

"I'm thinking of going with the 'Rich' theme," said Blanche.

"That's a good start. Next." Said Eric.

Blanche thought, what would she need after getting money? Would money answer the how? Now there was the what. What would she do to keep herself busy?

"Then '**** Sports'," said Blanche. After all, she loved thrills. She'd injured herself several times with multiple fractures, but she couldn't help it.

"Interesting. And finally?" Eric commented.

Blanche thought about her life. Her choice to quit medicine would no doubt sadden the boss. She'd come to think of him as a father, and she was going to disappoint him.

"I choose 'Sloth'." Blanche said.

She saw that this surprised Eric and the others, but they said nothing.

"And we finish with Daphne." Eric said.

She didn't want to answer, but she regretted her earlier mistake enough to motivate herself and answer the question.
