Fun at the sporting goods store

Still wandering around the large indoor shopping mall, Elijah and Jack into the large sporting goods store. They had sales on all the sports which were practiced over this time of the year, especially since it was summer.

It was hot, dry and muggy. Kids were out playing soccer, volleyball and tennis, or they were splashing around in the pool. So, the big sales items in the sporting goods store were all the swimming items, bikinis, swimming trunks, soccer and tennis gear, and more. Jack and Elijah were walking around the soccer and swimming sections of the store.

Elijah picked up a soccer ball and kicked it in the air.

“You don’t play soccer!” Jack stated.

“I can learn! I can give myself killer soccer skills if I want!” Elijah grinned.

“Oh! I know!” Jack said, as he found a water-polo set in one of the sections. “This is for a soccer game which you can play in the pool!”

“Oh COOL!” Elijah grinned. “We should buy that! Then we can play water polo at home with all the kids from our street!”

“Yeah, but…” Jack sighed. “We don’t have a pool…”

Elijah just rolled his eyes.

“Wanna bet?”
