'Oh what the hell?' Kazuma decided, letting the wrong head control his decision making this time. Damn Darkness for making his more perverted side stronger... 'This second life was nice while it lasted... Oh who am I kidding, it sucked!' he thought. "Alright, gather the group, let's go slay us a dragon," he agreed, and Cremea cheered, heading off.

(Yeah, found out Dragon Knight was a class in KonoSuba, decided it was too freaking awesome a concept to not incorporate it into the party as long as we're adding new members, and I made up some requirements to advance into said class, and it's a chance to develop Cremea a bit. She's basically going to be headstrong and reckless, rushing things.)

"Aren't you rushing things a bit Cremea?" Fio was asking as they walked through the wilderness towards the rocky plains. "You wouldn't be able to get the Dragon Knight class until you hit level 40, and you're still level 22. You have time to get a dragon slayer accomplishment until then..."

"Are you kidding? This is the best chance I'm gonna get! It's a Lesser Dragon, plus, while it came for the upcoming winter, it's still warm enough that it'll want to hibernate until it starts snowing!" Cremea replied. "This is when it's at its weakest while it's in this area!"

"I guess so..." Fio replied hesitantly, not fully convinced. Aqua wasn't helping matters either, constantly switching from Greedy Aqua to Scared Aqua.

"The rewards are great... But this is crazy!" Aqua was cycling through the personas like a crazy person. "But think of the money we'll get! But it's a freaking Dragon! A Lesser Dragon though! The operative word is still Dragon! Megumin's Explosion will take care of it! She'd have to hit it first, you know those things fly, right!?"

This case of cycling attitudes was not solved until the antidote was applied... And by antidote, that meant Kazuma's hand. And by applied, that meant upside Aqua's head. "Cool it would you?" he asked, irritated.

"Ow! What was that for!?" Aqua whined.

"You were being annoying," Megumin answered for Kazuma.

"What she said," Kazuma agreed easily. "Besides... I'm assuming that's where it is..." He pointed at a cave that was iced over, clearly not naturally, given it was too warm for ice to form yet.

"Oh boy, I've never blown up a dragon before!" Megumin cheered, hugging her staff and wiggling. "This is gonna be awesome!"

"Not while it's in there you idiot, you'll collapse the cave on it!" Cremea told Megumin.

"So? Isn't the quest to kill it?" Megumin asked bluntly.

"Yes, but we agreed I'd get the finishing blow!" Cremea huffed. "Plus, we want to be able to get to the meat!"

The arguing was cut off as they heard a roar, and the blue dragon surged out of the cave, and took to the sky. "Shit, it either heard us or smelled us!" Kazuma realized as the beast circled, then flew down for a pass at them. "Scatter!"
