I tense up when I see the five Devils.

"How did he escape?" The Glass Devil asks.

"That sword wasn't on him. It must be a Passive skill." The Devil of Fear replies and she nods. "Strength, would you go grab him? But keep him awake this time." He continues and the Devil of Strength nods. He steps forward and I brace myself. He runs at me but doesn't use any of his blue energy. Ancient Thought Acceleration activates again. I see him running for me, but I can move my body quickly enough this time. I swing my blade into his arm as he tried to punch my face.

My blade cuts into his flesh but stops after an inch in. I pull it out and swing my blade for his neck. He jumps back and I notice a look of shock on his face.

"Even without most of his magic, he can still see my movements." Strength says and the Devil of Fear steps forward. He reaches out and gathers black energy around his hand. it grows into a claw before extending into a large hand. He suddenly rushes forward and the hand grows as wide as the hallway. I look around and run to a wall. I quickly jump up and kick off the wall. I grab onto a chandelier and jump over the hand. I land next to the Devil of Fear, who couldn't see me because of the hand. I swing my sword, aiming for his neck. I notice the Devil of Strength lunges for me and I kick off the Devil of fear. I land a few feet away and the Devil of Strength stops next to Fear.

"He's stronger than I thought" Fear says and Strength grunts.

"He's faster too." Strength says and I see the pink Devil step forward.

"Now now boys. That's enough fighting." She says, her voice sounding silky sweet. "Now Eric, why don't you put your weapon away and come with us?" She asks and I feel my head pound. My vision becomes blurry and I notice a pink hue on the sides of my vision. I shake my head and get a new pop-up.

I raise my sword and point it at her.

"What did you try to do to me?" I ask while Observing her.

She looks at me in shock before the Spatial Devil starts laughing.

"This is getting interesting. He's much stronger than we thought he was, isn't he Fear?" The Spatial Devil says causing Fear to grunt.

"Enough, Strength, Glass. Come catch him." Fear says while turning around and walking back to the others. "Rough him up as you need. Just don't kill him." He continues and I see the blonde-colored Glass Devil run forward. She stops next to the Devil of Strength and reaches out her hand. Before she can do anything, I sense the mana next to me change. I step back as a ball of raging winds appears next to me.

"That was fun!" Luna says happily after returning to Eric's Domain.

"It was. I even got to test out Giantomakia again! But I do still feel bad for breaking their Golems. I didn't mean to go that hard." Innu says next to her.

"I take it you two had fun today?" Asami asks from nearby. They turn and see her at the table. Ramia, Verona, and Gaia are sitting with her. The two girls nod before sitting down.

"Yep, and I'm getting close to mastering this sword! I've almost adjusted enough to still be able to fight after using it." Innu says and Gaia softly chuckles.

"Do you know where Eric is?" Verona asks.

"He said he wanted to train Eimbis and Barai, so they're probably in a Dungeon now." Asami answers.

"Does he usually take this long? It's been a few hours." Verona asks causing Asami to look a little concerned.

"I'll text him. He's usually pretty quick to respond. Even in a Dungeon, unless he's in a fight." Asami says while taking her phone out. She texts Eric, asking what he's doing now. She sets her phone on the table before turning to Luna and Innu. She starts asking them about how their training went. After a few minutes, she looks back at her phone. She sighs when she sees Eric hasn't responded.

"Gaia, would you mind checking on him?" Asami asks and Gaia smiles.

"I should've known you knew about my link to him." Gaia says and Verona smiles.

"For what it's worth Asami, Eric's still alive. If he were to die, his Domain would collapse. We'd be sent back to the point we entered it at. Except for Gaia, she'd be sent to his apartment, since it's the linked exit." Verona says while Gaia reaches out. The screen showing Eric pops up over the table. It shows him ****, resting on a bench. They can see the prison bars and Cuffs.

"Alpha!" Luna shouts jumping up. While Luna, Asami, Innu, and Ramia panic, Gaia turns to Verona.

"Verona, that's the Shadow Palace." She says with dread and Verona nods. She closes her eyes to think for a moment before standing up.

"Luna, return to the Guild Hall. Find Kallen, Kagiyama, and Sugano. Innu, go to Eric's apartment and find Larion. Bring him here." Verona says.

"Larion was at the Guild halls. He was training with us." Innu says and Verona nods.

"Okay, go find him and bring those four into a secluded meeting room. Once you've done that come back here. You'll be taking Gaia and me back there with you." Verona says and the two nod. They disappear and Verona turns to Gaia. "Are you okay with this Gaia?" She asks and Gaia nods.

"Should I go get Bergeth?" Asami asks and Verona nods. Asami leaves the room and Ramia runs upstairs. She comes down a minute later carrying a wooden box filled with blue potions.

"If you're g-going to fight, take t-these. I made them w-with the Blue Locus Plant. They're m-mana recover potions, but they're m-much stronger than even Blue Dragon recovery potions." She says and Gaia nods.

"Thank you Ramia." She says while picking up the box. Just then Asami and Bergeth run through the door. Before they can say anything, Luna returns alone.

"We have them in a secluded meeting room. Innu stayed back though." Luna says and Verona nods.

"Bergeth come with us." Verona says while grabbing Luna's shoulder. Gaia takes her other and Bergehth holds Verona's arm. "Take us in Luna." She says before they disappear, entering the Guildhall and announcing to the rest of the world that Gaia, the Goddess of Life, has returned.
