From the Beginning to Surprise: One Liners [Finished]

Quick Overview

1. For this setup: I asked for prompts that were a line of dialogue. The writers knew the level (of the sex scene) and who was saying it, but they came up with what was said.
   
2. The line of dialogue cannot specify another character, though it could use pronouns
3. I would always treat the line as if it was referring to something as true (i.e. it would never be a joke). It could refer to a dream if a dream occurred in the plot.
4. I randomized a list of episodes, episode times, impacts (which for this story will focus on relationships between Xander and the girls) and the prompts (which I don't know until drawn). I then took the time and tried to have that character say the prompted line as close to that time as possible (which, if they weren't in the scene, required going forward until a scene was found).
5. If the line referred to something in the past, I then determined what would have occurred to make it true. If it used present/future tense I would determine a change in the future.

Earlier Scene - After Buffy’s stuff is knocked to the ground in the hall.

“Can I have you,” Xander said as he bent down to help Buffy.

While her first instinct was to be confused, Buffy rolled with it, “Is that your pickup line?”

Xander started to panic and tried to recover, “Sunnydale is a fast moving place. I figure we jump past all the hoops. Though maybe I start by helping you.”

They quickly gathered up the supplies and Buffy made a quick decision about wanting to live a little, “Come with me.”

Xander thought he was in a dream, but the last thing he wanted to do was wake up. Earlier today he had seen this girl walking up the steps, pretty much instantly fell in love, and now she was pushing him into a supply closet. Even to his brain it was pretty evident what was going on.
