How do we start?
Fourth Wall
Thia couldn’t help but feel out of place as they set up the game. The others had history, a deep relationship. She still barely even knew why she was invited.
“Bad news Syd, all the cards are blank.”
“What? Aw, man.” She frowned. “Maybe it’s the kind of game where you’re supposed to come up with dares yourself and write on them?”
Val huffed. “That’ll take too long. How about if you land on a dare space, uhhhh… you just do a dare we come up with.”
“I guess that works. What about the double dare spaces? You’re supposed to draw two cards there.”
“Then, uh… you drink and then do the dare?”
“I want the pink token.” Dani cut in. “It’s cute.”
“Shit, there’s no black.” Val pouted. “Fine, red for me.”
“I’ll take blue.” Jules shrugged.
“What about you, Thia?” Sydney tilted her head. “You want green or yellow?”
“Uh… I’ll take green. If that’s alright.”
“No problem. Yellow, I am. Rules say the oldest goes first.”
“Hell yeah. January saves the day once again.” Val said, taking the die. “Anything but a three… and…” She tossed it and, “Four, nice. Just one dare for me.” Instinctively, she reached for a card, despite knowing they were blank.
“Yo, Val, don’t we come up with the dare?” Jules asked but Val didn’t respond. “Val?”
“It didn’t say this before.” She furrowed her brow. “Right? These were blank.”
“Huh? What’s it say?” Dani leaned over her shoulder. “Um… Val, that’s just white.”
“What? No, it…” Val paused. “It says ‘Physical Alteration. You will always feel a minimum of slightly buzzed.’ Is that… even a dare?”
“It definitely doesn’t say that. Val are you seeing things?” The blonde squinted at the card.
“Whatever. This is lame.” She rolled her eyes.
“Well, as the older twin, I guess it’s my turn.” Sydney took the die and tossed it. “Also four. Okay.” She reached for a card, looking confused at her own hand. “Mind Alteration. You will struggle to do basic mental math.”
“This is weird.” Jules frowned. “Like, these aren’t even dares.”
Sydney shut her eyes, straining for a moment. “Huh… that’s… weird.” She shook her head. “I… Ignore me, Jules, you go.”
“Sure…” She shrugged, rolling. “One, fuck.” Again, a card came to her hand. “Kink Alteration? You prefer anal to other types of sex? Weird… Syd, where the hell did you find this game. It’s gross.”
“My turn.” Dani reached for the die, but Thia beat her. “Hey!”
“Um… my birthday’s in March.”
“Yeah, well mine’s in April, so it’s my turn next.” Dani confidently announced.
Thia ignored her, rolling. “Five. Hey, I’m in the lead.” She stopped on a blue space, not the usual orange. “What’s this mean?”
“You get to skip a dare, lucky.” Jules shrugged. “Or not, this thing is busted anyway.”
“Psh… who cares, I'm going now.” She tossed the die, landing on a three. “Red… do I owe Val money now?”
“No. It’s a double dare. You draw two cards.”
“Oh, cool. That’ll put me in the lead.” Dani grabbed at the deck and read them out. “Meta Alteration. Unlucky Danika, you’ll roll lower than average.” She paused for a second. “Wait, why’s it know my name?”
Sydney frowned. “Something’s wrong. This game is…”
“And… Physical Alteration. Your generous assets will get you no further.” She tilted her head before her shirt fell loose. It wouldn’t have been wrong to point out that Dani was by far the most… gifted when it came to chests. A double D cup at least. But in an instant, her cleavage vanished. “What!? My tits? What the fuck?”
“Dani? What just happened?” Jules stared at her friend.
“I… I… I’llberightback!” She blurted out as she ran off.
Thia’s jaw hung slack as she watched the show. “Guys… what’s goin’ on?”
“Ask… ask me a math question.”
“Um… what’s five times three?”
“Okay. Okay, I can…” Sydney rubbed at her forehead. “If I just… focus… Carry the two…”
“Two?”
“Oh god…”
Val had taken up the die during this, seemingly only half paying attention.
“Wait, don’t!”
It was too late, the die had left Val’s hand. “Jeez, what’s your damage? It’s a fuckin’ busted board game.” She rolled her eyes as she took up a card.
“I… I think… the game is real? It’s actually happening.”
“Style Alteration…” Val’s hand not holding the card snaked down under her skirt. “You can no longer wear anything that would cover your genitals or buttocks?” As she spoke, her hand began to shimmy off her panties. “Ah, ah! What the fuck!? I’m not… I’m not doing that!” She tried to use her other hand to tug the underwear back up but couldn’t get it back over her knee. Eventually the force won out and the panties tore.
“It’s… real?” Thia muttered.
“No fucking way.” Jules shook her head. “That would mean… nope. Definitely don’t want butt stuff…” She blushed for a moment. “Oh god. Syd what the fuck did you make us play?”
