"Truthfully?" He queries, before answering anyways. "You can't really tell until you look. It's got a bit of a numbing component, so I can't feel the change happening gradually, if that's what you think. Don't know why it's not affecting you, though. Maybe it has a different affect on humans? To be honest I have no clue.." The lizard continues to ramble on, into his scientific theories for a while, until you both finish your meals. By the time though, you're met with a few tables of people watching the two of you eat.

"They're just curious as to why a human is eating at a place such as this. No need to feel afraid, no one with something to lose would dare touch a human.." He assures you, even waving to the people taking a gander your way. "Most of your kind tend to stick to the nobility district."

"I keep hearing about it, but, is it really as big a separation as everyone talks about it as? Can you not simply walk in?" You ask, relaxing a bit more after his assurances.

"Hm.. Well, you could walk in, yes. But if you aren't a known influential figure, you'd be bound for mistreatment." He says, before quickly adding: "But, you would be fine. Most people would just assume you're being covert if they didn't know who you are, haha. Human's are pretty much allowed to go anywhere without fault, barring maybe the slums. But I doubt you'd want to enter there."

"Bad place? You ask, flicking a subtle wave to the growing crowd.

"Terrible, to say the least. Pretty much a lawless hell-sight for people like you, or even I. No enforcement goes into there. But, it's a perfect place to buy materials on the cheap, so keep that in mind, hm?" You two continue to speak on less important topics, until the crowd gets too invasive to enjoy the atmosphere any longer. And the two of you decide it best to leave back to the shop.
