Food.

"This.. Doesn't taste too bad, honestly..." You say, eyes open more than usual and slightly jovial of your current situation. Digging your spoon into another helping of whatever the hell this soup consists of. The texture being a mash of meat and veggies you have trouble identifying by themselves. "I can't really place anything, but.. It tastes pretty good, in a nebulous sort of way." You further elaborate, not particularly expecting a stew from a random inn to be any good for a modern pallet.

Your lizard friend looks up from his meal, his tongue flicking in a distinctly non-human, reptilian manner at his lips in order to lick them clean. "This place was where I stayed when I first moved here. The food was a surprise, to say the least. If I remember correctly, one of the owners used to work as a chef in the human district." He scoops up a few more bites before continuing. "So, the place is just about as much an inn as it is a food establishment. I knew this would be a good place to take you, considering your probable upbringing!"

Taking another spoonful, you perk up at the lizard's thoughtfulness. "That's.. surprisingly sweet of you, man.." A small smile spreading across your face, and an even blush accompanying it soon there-after. Looking over to the smaller male, maintaining eye contact in a show of true gratitude. "Truthfully, I wasn't expecting anything I'd actually enjoy eating." You say slightly abashedly. "So, uh. Elephant in the room. Do you feel anything of note with your dick?" You ask, halfway between finishing a bite of food.
