I tried to get her mind working. She ranted and raved about if I wanted a girlfriend that liked mysteries, I should go after Victoria instead. I hadn' t really noticed you before then. You know Lisa is the kind of person that skips to the end of the novel and spoils it for me?"

Vicky shakes her head and says, "I hate when they do that too. I tried to do that with Heather, get on her on mystery novels. Then she spoiled this one novel I was really into. I actually started to punch her"

Zack laughs at that image. "Hey Vicky, it wasn't 'The Clock Chimes Twice' was it? That's the one that Lisa spoiled for me and caused our breakup."

Vicky's eyes go wide, "Yeah, it was. I wasn't sure who could have actually murdered the chef and why but it turns out that-" "it was actually a ghost back to finish its business. I thought the build up for it was great too," Zack finishes her thoughts.

Vicky walks back to him and slips her hand in his. They walk side by side for a while, until one of Vicky's flip flops breaks. Zack tries to catch her, but his footing is weak. Zack pulls her into him as they roll down a hill. They stop near a stream. Zack asks her, "Are you okay? Nothing broken or hurt?" She replies, "No, I'm fine. Hmm... thank you for saving me."
