Follow the path to the right

You consider your options and decide that walking through the forest at random is just asking for trouble. Following the road in either direction seems almost as bad - sure, it will make it easy to travel, but at the same time you may find yourself ambushed, as the road is likely to be watched by enemies. Plus, you'll be easier to spot when on the road. That leaves only the two side paths. With no way to tell which one is better you pick at random and follow the right path.

The small dirt path goes in a mostly-straight line, occasionally making detours when a tree gets in the way. As you walk deeper into the forest the path becomes more and more overgrown with various plants, until you can barely see it. Fortunately by then you can see something in the distance - some sort of building the path seems to be leading to.

You keep walking and gradually start making out details about your destination. The building turns out to be an old hut made from wood, vines and leaves. As you get closer it becomes obvious that it has been abandoned for a long time, as vines and moss have started growing on the walls and some birds have made their nest on the roof. There is no door, just an empty space where the door is meant to be. There is a single window you can see - or rather, you can see where the window is supposed to be.

It is impossible to see what's inside due to lack of light - the trees around the hut limit the amount of sunlight that reaches it, and the door and window further limit how much light gets inside.

You circle the hut but see nothing of interest. If there is anything here it is clearly inside.

Should I search inside, or should I leave this place and go somewhere else? You ask yourself mentally as you consider your options.
